Best third class for Warrior/Mage?

Can only choose between Rogue, Scout, and Knight. Seems pretty worthless, but I guess I need to choose one, any suggestions wanted.

Also can't seem to be able to find my elite skills, even though I've learned the first four....please see this thread and help if you can!

It doesn't matter. The third class doesn't affect the other two at the same time. You can pick any class you want.

People tend to pick there 3rd class with two things in mind generally: Re-gearing cost and Fufilling a certain archetype (healing, tank,DPS)

So if you're a W/M you may want to pick up a healer or a tank or you may want to pick up a magic user secondary (like a druid or priest) or if you're melee statted knight/warden.

It really doesn't matter though.

Ummm, you just don't want to be a priest at all? Cause m/p is the classic mage in a way. It has some good elite skills and the priest general skills are pretty handy (urgent heal, regenerate, holy aura). M/P can solo almost anything.

Mage/knight is lovely (they're tough and they get a hard hitting instant in stars of light), mage/scout is wonderful (fire arrows for the win, faster casting and a stat-stick bow) and mage/rogue can be beastly (dots, cursed fangs and kiss of the vampire).

It's like a beautiful buffet of magey-ness.

Your third class is there for versatility, so you don't really need one at all, but I love mine and wouldn't give it up for anything. I am M/P/S and they work together beautifully. I use m/p or m/s in instances and p/s in pvp. Since you are m/s, you could go m/w/p and add m/p and p/w to your arsenal. P/W is downright OP in pvp, although it requires a lot of specialized gear and has a long learning curve.

Or, if you prefer to add a melee flavor to your toon, go m/w/r. Try out r/w for pvp or pve or be an off-tank or melee dps as a dual-axe wielding w/r. You could even be a tank, if you chose knight. K/M, I have been told, is excellent in pvp and k/w is a great tank.

Juts pick something that appeals to you. You can always reroll, but the third class is there for you to have fun with.

Best thing about picking third class? You now have 6 sets of elites to get instead of mere 2. Three times the fun. :p

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Before Ch 4 came out, I already played mage/war and war/mage combo. For my third class, I picked Druid (I'm an elf) for the heals. Here's my impression:

Mage/Druid is better than Mage/War. While the Mage/War elite skill that buffs attack speed is nice, I find that the M/D's self healing and magma blade more than makes up the difference.

War/Mage is better than War/Druid. The damage buff to Electric Attack makes all the difference. Plus I never figured out how to dps with W/Dr properly. Currently, my W/M is actually better than my M/Dr for single target DPS.

Druid/War is better than Druid/Mage for healing, mostly because Dr/W has more buffs than Dr/M. Dr/M looks to be better at DPS, but I didn't pick Druid to have yet another DPS class.
