Either I am really thick, or the answers aren't right...sorry
A weapon has both damage types listed....if an axe does 60 phys and 48 magic, and I attack just by double clicking a target, which damage gets applied?
If I cast fireball, does the axe's magic damage some how get applied?
If you do one damage or the other listed on a weapon....which one get's applied when???
I am sorry this is really confusing to me...and I am sorry for being so thick.
lol dont worry, i read a little and yeah... even though im a m/w and lvling my w/m for endgame... i was confused rofl, if you are w/m then you have 2 routes...
1) you could be a physical war with a lil extra mage damage wich i think is a waste >_> so i wont even go into that lol (i dont do it so idk how)
2) mage in the form of a war lol wich is done by using either a staff or wand/shield
the damage for a w/m is all in the magical damage on a weapon but say u wanted to use an axe anyways.... lets say this said axe had 60 att and 40 magic, you would hit a little extra WHITE damage while significantly lowering your magic damage, therefore overall suffering. the skill "Electric attack" which is the hardest hitting skill a war/mage has uses the Magical Damage on a weapon, that's what you want the highest. and as for casting fireball, lightning, thundersword, and all other "Spells on the war/mage, it uses the Magical Damage from your weapon. if you have any other questions feel free to pst me ingame on artemis or reply XD
and idk if i made it clear since im posting this while im still a lil half asleep lol it sounded like you wanted to know the damage for just "Attack"... the white damage from it on the mob is the physical damage from your weapon but by using electric attack, it does magic damage aswell so its best to use a mage weapon instead of a physical.
[P.S. i hit for 33k+ or crit for 70k+ as lv 53 as a war/mage XD)
