So much drama.

As a P/s RT was never viable.

Ahaha. You're complaining about RT as a P/S? Seriously, if you're using RT frequently, you're doing it wrong.

This is a somewhat valid complaint for the priests that actually rely on RT--P/K, for instance, is especially screwed over, as a heal-statted P/K's damage was already horrifying with a spammable RT. P/S, however, is one of the priests that doesn't ever need to use it.

I use it constantly.....or I should say did.
I used it for the Burn phase on Bosses and sometimes during siege if I was defending a tower or taking a tower.
The DPS output from RT is maximized when you use instruments and Ancient spirit water, and previously made RT a 1 second cast. It would out DPS Ice Blade before the GCD. Now it does not, so Ice Blade now does more DPS even though it has always had a GCD of 1 second.

It adds to the reasons for using nothing but Ice Blade.

I still use it same as always, as an opener.

For opening a battle it's great, because it does hit harder than ice blade, but I don't use it during a fight as it takes too long for the damage.

Edit: I really don't think that I would go through the effort and expense of looking for a good high dps bow for it, the added damage is very small. I think even a white OD level one bow would work as well as any other, it's primarily just a stat holder for priests.
Mine is a lvl 60 bow I got as a drop, with 560 dps, and I may see 1200 extra damage at most. Of course, if you're the type that must have all the damage possible regardless of expense, then go ahead :)

thinking of using the Ice Breaker xbow. does 737 dps before refining. needs to be cleaned first but should be easy enough to pay for the service since it's unbound. going t6 is within reach with the purple 70 stats. :)

Yeah, one of the first quests I completed in the new zone had a 110 dura bow with 700+ DPS as a reward, took it with the intent of possibly cleaning and statting it up.
It's been sitting in my house storage for the last few days while I think about whether it would really be worthwhile.

Rising Tide shouldn't be a 2 second cast. For both PvE and PvP reasons, this should be at max, a 1 second cast.

For PvP reasons, I'd even go with insta-cast with a 1 second cooldown (so that it comes out to be insta-with two second cooldown after the GCD). That'd let non-P/S have a good one two punch with the 55 set skill.
