i am only 40k HP and more warrior statted, but with Hero's Child T9 without plussing, around 20k patt, I have problem over aggroing R/S's in parties. I am still thinking, if i should go semi DPS / semi Tank and stat around sta/patt (3x or 4x, or even 6x?) and rest - sta/pdef, patt/def or one wis/patt (1x on every second gear - for MP) or 1x dex patt (for accuracy). Or go Druff's way by 3x(4x) sta/def and rest sta/patt.
And is it usefull mainly to stat gear that gives more critical?
I do not know mainly purpose of tank - to max def and sta to hold many attacks and suffer less damage, or to be able to over aggro other chars in party and take less damage, because if someone overaggroes me - the result will be his sure death.
Please comment above, couse i am really confused around tank style of play
The only crit on my gear I got is from Necklace (+15) and Fatal rune (IV), nothing else. So crit is really not needed.
I guess the R/S you can't keep aggro against is far better geared than you and/or has no recon runes.
I really got no problem at all with anyone's aggro usually, even I got really low p.att and crit (now with Lekani's Strength t11+16 not anymore anyway

)
Really important that you run the correct Aggro rotation. When I start bossfight I usually do:
Caviar Sandwich, Savage Power, Strong Stimulant, Rage Potion/Strong Stimulating Scent, VN Cape (can be exchanged with Strength of Battle I guess)....then run to boss and use Energy Absorb, Double Chop, Beast Chop, Pulse Mastery, Double Chop, Will Attack, Slash, Double Chop....and then just keep Double Chop/Will Attack/Beast Chop on CD and use in between, when everything is on CD or buff ran out Pulse Mastery/Slash/PotWS.
