Need help picking a class

Hiya, I'm new and want to find a good melee/magic hybrid class combo. I mostly like PvP and have been thinking about Knight/Priest, Warrior/Mage, Priest/Warrior, Druid/Warrior, and Warden/Mage.

Try each melee/magic combo and see which one you like best.
This is the best way to discover what your playstyle and role you like to fit in a group.

Other avenues are to check out the forums of each individual class...there are a bunch of guides that have the combos you seek.

Have fun in your RoM experience! :D

I'm pretty sure rogue/mage is a good pvp combo and it is melee/hybrid I believe.

Nightblades do sound interesting.
Currently working on one to see how it fares.

if you like fighting side by side chose Wd/M because of the spirit of the oak thingy and mage will do a lot of damage so Wd/M is good.i never played K/P but i heard its powerful.

Consider Wd/D. Great hybrid potential. Though, I go full mage build with the class combo.

Now is there any chance I can get you to write a guide about it? Read about some of your achievements and Really got me interested, especially considering it's a combo that on paper is very bad.

The Wd/D is one I've started and very impressed...Heck running logar stuff solo ( including rares/elites ) Was surprised to finish Things that go Bump in the Night solo along with Stange Substance .......Still low lvl ( under 20/20 ) but seems to be very strong early..no clear idea how everything scales though....

I plan to use it to farm stats for alts down the road even if it can't perform at end-game ( no idea there )

I'll get around to it real soon. Prolly this Sunday since it's my day off, but I have been getting messages and stuff about it. There's a few tips and tricks I am reluctant to put in the guide since the devs tend to nerf the wrong things sometimes if it raises an eyebrow, but the guide will have some depth none-the-less.

Just wait till you get [Earth Spirit Essence] at lvl 30, that's when your 2H staff really pays off. I do remember at lvl 30 I solo'd full NoM with the combo, Forsaken Abbey too. Pretty much I was always able to solo instances that no one else could with the magic build.

And yes, I am able to farm stats for my alts, especially DoD first boss normal for some quick Imprisonment stats. I was able to kill him in under 3 minutes at lvl 60, haven't been back since cause leveling is the priority. I would farm HoS first boss normal, but you can only do the normal instance once a day lol.

Just got my Puppet Queen now that I hit level 65, and even though it's +16 with no tier (it's 5.8kMdam currently), I am already pulling over 120k normal hits on stuff outside of Redhill and whatnot (without foods), still using lvl 55 mage gear lol. I have 50k Pdef with just self buffs (no pots), my MAttack is only 24k, so I look forward to lvl 70 gear when I can get over the 100k pdef hump and pull 60k+ Mattack with 8k+ Mdam.

Anyways, I'll outline skills and strats when I do the guide later.
