Healing Bonus ?

so i have a ? about healing bonus. i was under the assumption that the higher the healing bonus the greater the heals. I currently only have a savage staff which gives me about 1656 healing power increase points. which puts my healing bonus at 1940. But the other day i put on a raksha staff i have when i want to do more dmg on my p/s, which has no healing power increase points, yet my healing bonus went up to about 2713. but my heals are weaker even though the healing bonus is higher.

Healing Bonus isn't the same thing as Healing Power Increase Points. You lost a ton of HPIP when switching to the Raksha Staff, which is why your heals went down, even though your mdam is higher. Mdam and HPIP both play a role in calculating healing output, but HPIP will raise heals much faster than mdam will.

As for the number calculated on your character info screen, it's roughly half of your current mdam, which is why it goes up when you switch to a mage staff. It has nothing to do with HPIP, which isn't shown in character info.

On a side note: I wish we could see how many healing power increase points we have. Would be nice to know.
