Priest Stat and Gear List

This guide is for players who play Priest as their main class or secondary. This lists the gear and stats for a priest specializing in healing, physical defense and high survivability.

To those better geared priests, please share any information, insight, or general knowledge below. I'll include and/or fix any errors. Thank you.

Note: This is a work-in-progress. I made this for my guildies. Also, the intelligence information is clarify the misconception that Intelligence or Magic Attack increases Healing Power. You have been warned. :P

Edit: The formatting for this new forum does not work well here for some reason. Tried to make more space between sections, but it didn't work. :(

After the Shadoj Set there is the Annelia set from Grafu Castle. As well as annellias toy (talisman) and annelias left hand (shield) for off hand options to go with the clown wand, but they are very rare. I would suggest going with the clown wand with book of judgement offhand for better healing. For soloing, you should use the staff. Many healers don't like it, but there is the torture set that give healing bonus. I use it but not many will agree. For stats I go with the four Stam/def (crimson, bunker, glorious, hero) and two Wis/HP (glorious, Hero). Again its personal preference though. :-)Just my 2 cents. Cheers

Another healing staff would be, Savage staff lvl 60 Northern Janost Forest Black Codex

More healing Accessories: Oracle Necklace lvl 57 30 healing Experiment Np. 203 in Dungion of Dalanis

Conscience of Hackman(necklace) lvl 58 380 healling power increase. Drops from Blind Hackman in Southern Janost Forest

I also used the Silent Arena Robe lvl 58 400 HPI from southern Janost Black Codex

I am a lvl 70p/69k/6m and I can run grafu and sardos, sadly I haven't got in the new instance yet but I will be healing it soon =) I personally do not stat any intelligence or wisdom/magic attack. At one time I did throw in a few of the later but only as a filler and now that I am able to run more often and be a little picky about stats I avoid matack and intel completely. I also noticed that you forgot the best stat for a priest, the wisdom/stamina.

Like Unsufferable, in one of they other replies, I wear tribute at the moment but am switching to annellias set.

You have a great start here, there are just a few more things to add and you might want to double check your format. You put some mini titles under the dots like they were part of the list, making it a little confusing for a moment. Appreciate the time you put into this =)

Stam/wis stats should really be on this list too. Some priests, like myself, don't like using HP stats when building defensively (best for P/K, though). I limited myself to one Stam/HP stat per piece, 3 Stam/Def, and 2 Stam/Wis. For other combos it may differ, of course, as stacking pdef won't be quite so beneficial, but this stat shouldn't be left out.

Downside is, it's usually one of the hardest to get. :c

Thank you for the great responses and additional information. Keep it going! :)

Edit: Fixed the formatting for better readability. However, this is the second time I've done it...seems like it resets and removes the empty paragraph breaks for some reason.

I'd dare to assume this applies to Druids as well, right?

Thanks a bunch for the info.

Priests normally stack wis up to 7-8k ( 1-2 wis per piece, depending on whether you have full X runes on gear or not) then go either for more survivability or int/matt depending on personal preference and class combo.

Druids' HoT benefit more from wisdom than priest heals, so Druids can and would stack a lot more wisdom.

Annihilation (Stam/HP) and perhaps Light (Stam/mattk) could be added to this list. Both are decent stats to have if you're a solo priest.
