What would an endgame wd/s build look like with stats/gear/and skills.
Its so very few that do play wd/s so it is very little Info about my class vs. R/S and S/R. So and info would help not only me but ill say every wd/s and would be wd/s.

I'm not quite sure about how to stat (although I'm sure it involves what you would use for a warrior, sta/str/patk) but I do know that and endgame geared Wd/s can one shot a r/s. At least Chiron can, anyway. He hits like a friggin' truck.

For my part i would say that i use my bow as a stat piece which means that I tier it to 5-6, 7-8<--if possible. The major difference between wd/s and wd/w is as a wd/s you have the chance to summon Chrion the Centaur as a major Dps dealer pet and that elite skill that gives +20% p.dam and also an accuracy bonus (+5%). We would better consider that you have more positve reasons to use Kalumes Badge as 2h-weapons since it gives alomst 900-1000 accuracy at Tier 9-10 instead if Lekanis Strenght that only give p.attk. Wd/s have a buff that increase p.def by almost 110% at +/- lvl 65, id rather get chain instead of leather.

Correct me if i am wrong but i play warden since chapter 2 and maybe there are a few things that you might consider or convince me that you are right, no offence just curious and willing to improve my character thx

Questions about wd/s

Ok so from all my reading I've found that for Chiron, PA matters more than Pdamage. Here's a couple thoughts/questions/ideas on the matter.

If I wanted to get the mostout of Chiron as far as buffs and summoning...I know to pop everything and then summon him while buffs are active. But here's an idea...Would it be better to stat up a 1-h sword or axe and a talisman just for summoning chiron? I could easily get another 4K BASE pa from using those two extra statted items while summoning. Then after he is summoned I could switch back to my 2-H axe. What do you all think of this? Please point out any flaws or suggestions with this. Right now I will use statted bow and Tiered 2-H axe. But with this idea I would gain 2 items worth of stats for PA. Since I'm not using them in battle I could just go all str/pa on them. so each one at 6 times str/pa on each item would be a LOT of extra PA for Chiron to "eat".

Yes as said before in other threads, Chiron the centaur hits stronger when poping Savage Power since you have more physical attack, so yes statting a 1h-sword and a talisman with only p.attk would get him stronger at the time of the summoning

Lekani's Strength has highest DPS and highest damage -> best choice. What do you need accuracy for? You get enough bigtime by nonstats/runes.

Wd/S is a DD and therefor mostly will run with the pdmg buff and not with defense. If you didn't realize yet btw: all items except the pants I listed are chain. Pants are leather since they got only slightly lower base HP and Pdef than chain ones, but give strength nonstat and stam from plussing instead of dex (useless) on both.

@quentinludwigs: According to chirons damage formula (http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=65611), this is only worth it, if you don't lose much weapon damage (which is impossible if changing from tiered 2H to statted 1H)....about the ADF of pets I am not sure though, but still you just lose too much base damage when using 1H for only 4k more p.att.

Ehm and about Boss rotation: Untameable and potws spam....after burst (or if a S/R in party) can also use Vampire Arrow

Understood for the best weapon and armor thx.

I am just wondering how good is to have more accuracy since you get more chances to hit the target ( Is there a calculation to see how more often you would hit a target with accuracy?). I never took time to check how many time would miss a boss by example with more or less accuracy but i can easily say that i almost never miss rogues or scouts in siege. Maybe it could help a bit but i dont know if choosing over a more powerful axe with less accuracy vs the Kalume Badge is an option to consider?

@druff: you mentioned using potws and untamable after burn. I might be wrong but it seems like my Joint Blow @ lvl 30 does more damage (with slow effect) than my potws @ lvl 65. Am I missing some info here? Also I'm curious how wd/s does vs w/wd for damage. I'm essentially statting gear the same for both. Any thoughts on which does higher dps?

This is due to not enjoying working on a character for a couple of months, then the flavor of the month group comes by with dias and copycats, then the siege qq-ers with their dia buying get their butts handed to them, then coincidentally a class balance patch comes out about a month later, thus all the work I spend properly building a character is rendered usless.

lol, so no one can try to have fun on this class because it belongs to you? Nerfs don't happen because of people complaining in siege, you don't have anything to worry about. I'm sure you've seen many people complaining about rogue's hide and their ability to 1 shot people with low blow in siege, not to mention the threads with several hundred replies complaining about the class I play in siege (with most people calling my favorite skill haxblade). No big class balance has changed anything there...

I don't care if other people want to play my class combo or are trying to make it the fotm. Just have fun, your precious wd/s wont be nerfed just because more people roll it...im pretty sure knights were far from OP fotm when they got their "rebalance"

That is the whole idea, to try and keep this class fun. Try reading the threads in this forum and see that the consenus is that wardens are fun.

It is not coicidence that the flavor of the month has a stigmata against wardens and they have remained unnerfed. They are still largely buggy, but fun as heck.

A large thx to the GMs, CMs, RW, and froggy for the ch 4 fixes to wardens.

As a Wd/S how much does the actual amount of str matter? I know it gives patk but if I say gave up about 4k str statting like

str/patk
str/patk
stam/patk
stam/patk
pdef/patk
hp/patk

instead of statting like

str/patk
str/patk
str/patk
str/patk
stam/patk
stam/patk

how would that affect my dps and chiron's? Basically I'm sacrificing patk and str for more pdef and hp.
