Personally for my P/S and I'm not saying if it's the right way to do your skills or the wrong way but I have:

Ice Blade MAXED
Grace of Life MAXED
Embrace of the Water Spirit MAXED
Magic Barrier MAXED (maxes at 50)
Faith MAXED (maxes at 50) ---> because you still got to heal yourself occasionally and level 50 skill is nothing to max out
Prayer MAXED (maxes at 50)
Healing Salve (maxes at 50)
Wave Armor MAXED (ehh why not? It increases Pdef; do this if you can)

Skills I TOTALLY IGNORED:

Group Heal +0
Heal +0
Chain of Light +0
Rising Tide +0
Amp Attack +0

(this is for P/S pvp mode)
