Magical Accuracy on gear?

I've noticed the Tia's set from Sardo http://www.runesdatabase.com/itemset/610354/loyal-protection and the upcoming level 72 set http://www.runesdatabase.com/item/228655…rring#set-items both have Magical Accuracy on the legs and accessory piece. Also with these new sets you have to have all 4 pieces to get the healing bonus.

My question is, what difference does accuracy have on healing...if any?

I've heard it makes a difference in how hard melee hit or how hard a spell may hit an enemy but does it have any relevance at all to healing and if not why are they putting it on the gear with the healing bonus rather than magic crit?

The dps (mage) sets still have the crit stat on those pieces when they might be the ones who would need accuracy more than healers (again from what I know of how accuracy works in this game)

So are we going to have to chose between healing power increase bonus and crit rate?

Macc does nothing for heals. Your macc should be high if you're statting wis. M/pacc for damage is whether you will land or not, not how hard it hits.

Yeah the way accuracy was described to me was the example if shooting an arrow..hitting an arm versus hitting the heart or head. *shrug*

So it looks like for the sets that include the legs, we'll either need to wear old gear to keep both crit and the healing power bonus, go with gear that has crit and no healing bonus, or go with the new sets with the stupid accuracy stat and healing bonus.
