Noob question... but it has to be asked!

ok so I picked up Wd as my 3rd class and have been working on leveling it up and now that im above lvl 30 and trying to cue my pets attacks I cant seem to figure out how! I assumed that it would be as simple as cuing up my attacks dragging and dropping them into my pets action bar but no luck, I have tried anything and everything I can think of and still nothing. Feel a bit silly asking something like this but it really is a waste if I can never use the various pet attacks... please someone clue me in on how the hell I am supposed to do this (and Im sure its going to be something super simple that I will smack my forehead for not thinking of)..lol

The Warden pets only have their own attacks. For example, Spirit of the Oak has Punch - you activate it by using punch on the Pet Action Bar. Right clicking will activate auto-attack, and you can set the AI of the pet on the bar too.

The pet doesn't do your attacks - that is still down to player.

Does that answer your question? If not, can be a little bit more specific about what you are actually trying to do? Pet names, skill names, etc? That would be great.

I know that the warden pets have their own attacks and thats what I am trying to cue into the pet action bar (ctrl + #). I have unlocked Spirit of the Oak's Sepel Stab but unable to use it seeing as it does not appear to be in the action bar for him.

What I am trying to figure out is how the pet attacks get cued into the pet action bar....

The attacks appear at the end of the bar...after normal commands like Stop, Attack, Follow, etc.

Sepal Stab is only for the Oak Walker pet. It will never show up on Spirit of the Oak's action bar because it is only available for your Oak Walker pet. Punch is only going to be available for your Spirit of the Oak.

I will check again once my client finishes the patch update from this morning ... maybe it was just because I needed to restart the toon or something ... at least i hope so...lol

and Rossbot that makes it all make much much more sense! the pet attacks are still a bit confusing as they seen to have all the pet attacks mixed with each other but this sheds a great light onto the situation TY :D

Yeah, it is a bit confusing. None of the attacks are labelled with which pet can use them.
Spirit of the Oak gets Punch and Entangle.
Oak Walker gets Sepal Stab and Magic Interference.
Nature Crystal gets Crystalline Protection and Crystalline Acceleration. (This pet CANNOT attack, even though it has an attack command)
Hope that clears things up.

About your question (i skimmed though it so I may be as answering it incorrectly)

Your warden pet abilities cannot be placed in your action bar. Their abilities will automatically appear in the side bar that appears when you summon your pet given you leveled enough to unlock one of their skills. Their abilities will only pop up there and connot be moved or placed anywhere else. sad but that is how it seems to work since I last used warden.

Are you having difficulty using the hotkeys for pet commands? I had that problem (pressed the assigned keys, nothing happened), and got around it by writing macros for the pet commands.

The spirit of the oak and oak walker need to be in a range of 50 of the target to use their special attacks of punch and sepal stab. Trying these outside of that range by the ctrl+# just cause the pet to stop, stand there, and look stupid while you get your butt handed to you.

Best bet is to use attack(ctrl+3) and let the autoattacks take over from there. Check the range requirement for their special skills for your particular class combo.

Also, the pet can use all the skills available to it, ie oak walker can use sepal stab and magic interference. Just turn on autoattacks for both skills and it will automatically use the skill when cd is over.
