Good secondary for Rogues???

Hey guys so I started playing RoM about a year ago and I decided to start playing again :) so I decided to become a rogue but im unsure on what secondary class to choose. I'm looking for a good class for PvE, im not much of a PvP guy so would R/P be good? Im thinking of R/S, R/M, R/P, or R/W? I like to be sneaky but im not a huge fan of bows, but im unsure what classes go well together for PvE. So if anyone could give me ideas I would appreciate it :) REMEBMBER im looking to PvE NOT PvP thanks guys

R/S is currently the best, deals out the best damage, etc. The others are are rather odd combos and rather under powered.

R/S is what seems to be the best combo going.
Lots of dps and perks.

Personally Im going to say r/w.
46% more physical attack and 15% more crit damage during boss fights!

R/M and R/P are mainly PvP combos. Neither are very viable for top-end PvE; since you want to stay away from PvP, don't go for either of these, especially if you want to be a decent dps and/or plan to hit endgame.

R/S is the top currently, but R/W isn't bad either. You should take a look at runesdatabase.com and see what the R/S and R/W elites are (as well as what General skills from the /Scout or /Warrior side you'd be able to use), to decide which you'd find more fun.

Alrighty thanks guys, im gunna decide between R/W and R/S for a good PvE character, Can a R/W be good if I dont use projectiles, not a big fan of ranged weapons?

Just keep in mind one thing: it's the Combat Master that keeps rogue/scouts going. +60% crit damage is a lot especially since for me I have a 71% crit ratio... yea big difference.

I don't think r/w uses projectiles at all except maybe the occasional tough pull but thats rare to non existent. R/S is strong dps for a 3 main reasons (Combat master, Coerce and energy thief)

either way both are fun combos... I personally prefer r/s due to its fairly strong ranged attacks which give a little more flexibility in pvp.

R/S is definitely the best dps at the moment. There is nothing better. Others can come close but you're not gonna beat a R/S.

Not sure if knives are considered ranged weapons or not but yeah use them. As a R/Wa you get an elite that slows the target for 5 seconds. Don't put any TP into your throw skill cause the dps sucks on all knives in game. But yes slowing a target for 5 seconds is nice.
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

R/S isnt a range class if thats what you are worried about. All your fighting will be at close range, except some very rare occasions (or in sw where you just vamp arrow someone in the face).

With energy thief, combat master, and coerce, rogue scouts are generally going to be the hardest hitting rogues. R/w, R/k, and R/wn are good, but generally harder to learn and play, and less damage.

Rolling a rogue/ward just for a 5-second slow is pure stupidity. If that's the sole reason for it, you might as well go R/S and use joint blow and spam it for a permanent slow effect on your opponent. Not to mention that rogues also have Shadow Prison - can't move for 5 seconds... it makes the 5-second slow effect worthless.

Nobody said anyone was rolling a R/warden, try re-reading, let alone rolling one for a 5 second slow down. R/Warrior gets the elite and nobody suggested rolling one solely for that purpose. He simply made a statement about knives. Stupidity is in the eye of the be-holder, read a little more carefully next time.
