uh what? at level 15/15 you get two free certificates in the mail o.O then after that, for 20/20, you will go to Coast of Opportunity to do an infinitely repeatable quest that will give you an old bag, inside of which will be the appropriate level elite skills certificate you will use to get an elite skill.

No old bags needed, just talk to the dwarf elite skills master he just gives them to you.

did you do your elite quests before 06/15 server maintenance? Ive seen reports that after that day the npc actually wants the certificates, so he'll probably really have to do the quests in CoO.

Anwyays, you CAN do the old bag quest for your certificates. You currently only need 1 certificate per level, as the certificates are not used up when you get your elites. :P I'm sure this will be fixed in the future.

<fire extinguisher applied>

Chill it down, people. We do not need trolling and flaming going on.

To answer the OP's question--to the best of my ability and current knowledge: When I was leveling my Dwarf last week, and this may have been prior to YomanROM's reference to the 6/15 maintenance, I received a pair of Level 15 Elite Skill Training certificates in the in-game mail. I went to the Elite Skill Trainer in the starting area, received the level 15 Elite for Warlock, changed classes, then went to him again and received the level 15 elite for Mage.

After leaving the starting area and later returning to get my third class (Champion--Dwarves can only receive their third class in the Dwarven starting area, class trainers in Varanas cannot help them), I later went to Heffner Camp and did several of the Old Bag quests to get my level 20, 25, and 30 elite skills for all three classes. As tmblake has said, only one certificate seems to be needed to gain the elite skills for the given certificate level. This may or may not be a bug. If it is, it will likely be fixed at a later date.

I do not know what the precise sequence is now for getting the level 15 certificates, but I presume that you still get them in the starting zone, and they arrive in your in-game mail, and need to be redeemed in the starting area. If anyone has current information which differs from this, I'd appreciate the correction.

Well, I know that I did the quest for the Old bag to get my level 15 certificates..... >.> However, seeing as they sent two certificates for level 15 in the mail, it would indicate that you need would need two for each level. In other words, this is most likely a bug that will be fixed in a while (depending on how busy their developers and hamsters are).

When I did mine, I received two certificates. But as opposed to past experience with elite certificates, neither of them were removed or deleted after I got my level 15 elite skills. I kept them in my pack but got rid of them before going to Heffner to get the elites connected to my third selected class. So, I have no idea if they could have been used there, but my speculation is that they were tied to the Dwarven starting area only. Insufficient data.

Things may well be changed in upcoming patches.

So just to update you all today I hit lvl 45/45 on my wl/r, and I went to the dwarf who's named elite skill trainer in Heffner, now the only thing I had in my bag were two lvl 15 training certificates, I said I want to learn a new skill. And I did, but he took the 15 certificates. I'm not so sure he is completely fixed.
