rogue/warlock

I have been playing wl/r and equaling using my r/wl. Both classes are impressive. I've developed a rotation I wanted to share with anyone who wants to try it out.

Always keep poison state on as the elite adds dark damage.

Ghostly strike (focus pool)
Warp (Focus) will increase attack speed
Ss
LB
WA
Soul stab (focus)

You have focus and energy pools to work through, start with ghostly strike cause it will weaken mob to dark damage, warp will increase speed of white attacks which not only gives dark damage but your poison debuff.

Now the two elite attacks have CD, so this is not a pure burst DPS class, but the elites make low blows damage look meager. If you time your rotation right you will be very high sustainable DPS. Letd not forget your heal, when you have dropped below 75% you can activate this every 30 seconds.

Also you will be able to give your party a dodge buff for 30%, activate this with your dex buff elite, you will be unhittable.

In PVP you want to use your fear skill, this is dark based and is rarely resisted. You send an enemy running around like a chicken for 6 seconds.

Well there is my rough guide, if anyone has a better rotation please add it! Its a learning process but alit of fun!

What do you mean dodge buff for 30%? Do you level the "Dark Soul Barrier"?
I'm thinking about maxing SS, LB, WA, Dagger mastery and Soul Stab, I hope I will have TP left at 50/50 for Ghostly strike. Is that a good way to deal TP?

Yes, but ghostly strike is your set up skill, the weaking affect makes soul stab your most powerful attack.

In a boss fight, you would use your dex boost, and your party dodge buff, it lasts 30 seconds I believe. If you use the rotation I put up you will be massive dps, you can also add combo throw at the end up that, both energy and focus should be regened by then. Rogue as a whole is a very easy TP class, you can keep your wound attack a few levels lower if you need TP. But with the 2 extra skills r/wl is TP intensive.

But this unlike r/s is a very sustainable DPS class combo.

TP intensive, you are not kidding. I have been sending all my TP orbs from seige to my R/Wl just to try to keep him up.

Have you tried rotating shadow prison and fear in siege? I have not since I am 72Ch/55Wl/55R, but it seems you could control someone indefinitely.

Sure you could but numbing dagger is still more effective for absolute control.

Good players have ways out of those.

regentego, how's the equipment?

Are you using main hand dagger off hand wand? Or both dagger?

As for stats dex/stam dex/patk or what?

Daggers, the damage delivered is not magic, you still build like a rogue dex/pa sta/pa sta/dex. All really cheap with the new blue stats. This is a super effective PvE class, you have a non stop rotation. If you stick to it you won't have to rely at all on magic skills from Warlock.

I made one a while back as well to give it a try. It seems to be like a solid dps class, I feel like people have this idea that it's not going to be good. It has the 2 hardest hitting skills any Rogue can get using any secondary class. I'd really like to see what you do with this combo.

Well, I'm having a great time with this combo!

Thanks Regent for the help! I was a bit confused (Still kinda new to the game).

Imo R/S is one of the top sustain damagers, its not all about spamming high dps skills.
Aristatic - r/s/w rerolled secondary and thirdary over 20 times
Went rogue cause its easy

While I agree r/wl receives two additional attacks that makes low blow look like a red headed step child. R/s is entirely dependent on combat master, heaven forbid they ever nerf CM which is why I try other classes. R/wl is being ignored by many players. But in siege you get self heal, reset evasion, and if you and a group are protecting a tower you can give the entire group a massive dodge buff. I'm excited to see what the 60/70 elite's are.
