Explosion of Power: Changed cooldown time from 180 to 90 seconds.

Personally, I think it's going to be a hilarious change, even if I loved the chapter IV Warden. But, once again we're the oddball class of the game! Opinions anyone, changes in build?

I'll reserve my judgment til we see how skills actually work now. Potentially this is a buff to dps wds (nerf to tank wds, sorry wd/w). Looks like my "New" Warden Guide just went out-of-date.

Taking a look at Power of the Oak buff... previously was 15% when capped, now 50%. Add in the 50% we get from 2hand Mastery and we have a nice 100% pdamage for burns. Only concern is whether we still will have to summon oak walker, use the pet buff, and then resummon our pet. Even with the reduced summoning time for pets, this still would really hurt this skill's use. Also wonder what kind of CDs the buffs will have... previously zero.

Right when I repurposed, too haha. Although ironically enough the only thing it super-nerfs is Will Attack; Wd/W loses absolutely nothing in regards to tanking bosses, and at the same time PoWS gets that mini-AoE effect so it's not all bad. Granted crowd control is still really limited, but.. it'll work, somehow haha.

True wd/w dont have aggro problem even with all those changes. But point is that with 60% decreased pdef(or 34% if your priest can keep your pet alive too) will you dare to tank the boss now?

Looks like the 15 minute 15% 2h damage is gone, and instead we get a stupid 30 sec 50% damage, which makes for less dps in a longer fight. So warden still cant dps, i think ill just stick with w/r =/

Am I reading this right? Summon your Nature Crystal pet and have a permanent immune as long as the pet is active, but you can't attack anything? Wasn't the PET immune before???

Tested; Nature Crystal has actually not changed since before the patch. Pet remains immune, dishes out the buffs, and master is capable of offensive skills still.

Also summoning in 2 seconds with Pet Master, not having to summon pets for the pet buffs... I like this all of a sudden.

I would like to return the skills as they were before. now my warden / mage is not good anymore, and neither my pdef. I liked my skills: "Heart of the Oak" + "Oak Blessing", but today they do not work right.

what the hell are you talking about, Warden Mage "was never good before" because the idea of half this half that aka "hybrid" always break Warden Mage and Warden Druid, with this new general skills buff and nice Warden Druid buff, these two could actually more playable now. Especially Warden Druid...

Please stop running around talking about classes you don't know about and/or don't even play acidkavu lol.

A lot of issue's came up when they decided to do this stupid patch. So many bugs also and nothing helped in the DPS aspect. Maybe if the 50% dmg worked but its still at 15%.

Still wouldnt go warden to dps, and wrd/warrior cant tank like before. Also less aggro for multiple mobs, Will attack was the best thing they did for us and they blasted it to nothingness but a buff for frantic, lawls.

o.o i feel amazed of how terribly they do the things when they try to fix them.... warden were perfectly fine the way it was.... they just broke it again, yes they added some nice tools, but they broke/messed up more tools than what they could have fixed..... :/ just make it back the way it was and dont touch them XD.... they even tried to fix the 50/50 D/s and they messed it even more.... the druids prefer the broken mana consumption over what they just did.... seriously?

I can make deal with most of the changes they've made, not that I like them just that I can deal with them. But honestly give me back my pdef buff, i don't need a stupid 2 attack immune. I propose that you make heart of the oak + briar shied equal the amount of pdef that the heart of the oak buff originally gave.

warden/mage is not good for you because you put int items, if you do pure str / atk would be correct .. wd/m had a super defense and a nice health regeneration(Heart of the Oak + Oak Blessing). and had a great fit if you put items with str / PATK.

Warden / mage was so good
when i was lvl 55 I killed the first boss in HOS
Heart of the Oak + Oak Blessing just give me 87k pdef.
now it sucks

I have mixed feelings about this patch. I still don't feel motivated to switch my warden back to main primary (was wd/r back in chapter 3). However, I will say that the changes were noticeable enough on my r/wd.

I had to make a few adjustments, since as rogue I don't want to use PotWS as my spammable (since it's a 3-target attack instead of single target). I moved PotWS more towards the end of my action bar, so I won't be using it as much, but I didn't take any TP away from it. I did add a few levels into Charged Chop since I had stopped it at 50. Now I've leveled that up and will be using it as a spammable to replace PotWS. The CD isn't noticeable, it's about the same as if there was no cooldown (GCD only).

For Briar Shield...eh...I guess the added defense is ok, not gonna complain about it. I still wish that it repelled casted attacks, not just physical attacks, but I guess Runewaker won't do that.

On Warden, I took all TP out of the pet buffs (which is only the oak walker buff now). I'm not a big fan of having temporary buffs unless they can be used like CDs. I didn't really feel that this was the case with the changes that were made, so they were scrapped. I wasn't using Warden to tank before, I used it as a dps class... however, I favored using pet buffs over having my Walker out (they can be troublesome still at times). I guess if/when I do play Warden now, I will just have to put up with having my Walker out at all times.
That was the only big change I made, the rest I felt I could leave the same in terms of TP levels.

I still think this patch was really weird. I don't feel like it was really good, but I also don't feel that it was really bad, at least in terms of my warden combo. I do sympathize with the warden combos that got overhauled completely though...really didn't see that coming. =/

Eventually by chapter 6 they will get rid of the wardens as a whole and force you to create a dwarf.

They will supply you with an "Advanced Skill Reset Stone" but the text will say "changes your race to a dwarf and picks Champion if a Warden, Warlock if a Druid" :/
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.
