Yeah mages can solo DoD but it's chapter 2 instance and even in chapter 2 mages did solo DoD.

Would be a nice achievement if someone could one shot DoD first boss. A scout did it wtih Snipe fully buffed/instrumented in Ch V. Might be possible with flame too.

I remember scout one shoting him in chapter IV. And I think the first mage to do it will be a m/p as they have an outburst which can cause flame to hit twice. I have seen mage doing 1.5mill hit.

What makes Flame hit twice is Eruption not Outburst. All mages have Eruption. Outburst increases the percentage Eruption processes. Not sure by how much though.

Scout could probably still do it, since isn't Snipe even MORE powerful now? Didn't they increase the damage?

Whatever mage did it would have to get incredibly lucky and get an eruption on the first flame. And that flame would have to be, what, 1.3M? Doesn't first boss have 2.5M hp?

Yes it's true that eruption is increasing damage but it almost never works. And with outburst that increase the chance of eruption m/p erupts every other hit in DoD and even in sardo where bosses get killed in few secs about 1-3 or more eruptions will happen.

My accomplishments?

1. Sticking around to play a mage after Scouts of Magic and Hackerfest, missing house chests, lack of double diamonds, ruby bonus revocation on sales, the game ate a fully statted, plussed and drilled piece of gear, the anniversary diamond fiasco, and all of the crap that's happened on the forums/itemshop thanks to FA and Gameforge. Plus the 4.0.5 patch, borked AH and mailbox, multiple client crashes and glitchy, buggy content. Although I'm not sure if this is an accomplishment or just my being too stubborn to leave the game.

2. Helping my guild clear TOSH for the first time.

3. Getting a LOT of gear out to undergeared and underprivileged players.

4. Guiding and helping new players to become more experienced veterans.

5. Having people jump off a cliff as opposed to fighting me in siege.

Yeah. That about covers it for my accomplishments.

In a world of black, white, and grey... I'd be bright friggin' purple. M/P on Reni.

It's because mage can't usually kill priest with one flame so it erupts.
