Rogue/Warlock

Has anyone built one of these guys and collected thier elites? I was curious how it opperates with all its elites. There seems to be a lot of weakening and instants added.

Yes I have all my elites, honestly for PvE this is a ridiculously OP rogue class, its was so well thought out by runewaker. Your first attack will always be ghostly strike followed by a quick warp charge which boosts my attack speed by 15%, white attacks hit for dark damage which cause more damage cause your opponent is weakened, then your rogue rotation followed by by your other elite attack which is a fatal blow. The rotation i posted originally except add combo throw at the end, by then your CDs are up and focus and energy replenished. I have not tested it in pvp but the self heal is very nice with a short CD.

This isn't a burn class combo though but high sustainable DPS, very high DPS. I love wl/r but hands down this is fun and every single elite is usable and has a purpose. Im surprised more people have not made a switch. BUT this class is TP intensive beyond belief.

I have been tinkering with wl/r and r/wl I got the same feal from it. A lot of skills to rotate through (thats a good thing) but not a huge burn. I am enjoying r/wl way more and have kind of decided to just make warlock a secondary.

How is it not good for burns? you get an extra attack speed from warp charge + the xDEX for 30 seconds and that 2% pdef decrease (agreed it's nothing major). You may be loosing the bow from r/s and combat master, but i dont think it's bad tradeoff. Also that party dodge buff is really good for burns, though the animation is a lagfest.

Dodge is irrelevant for the party during a burn.

If a group has the ability to burn an end-game boss. Dodge doesn't change anything.

It is great as a utility for growing players thriving for end-game.

I am sure you can stack it with Rogue/Priest's dodge buff too.

Have you ever burned a boss with s/k's or r/k's tanking? then yes dodge is relevant

While Combat master does make r/s OP its energy thief that gives burn mode, 20 seconds of low blow spamming. R/S will always be the king of burns with that. But not everyone wants to burn, think of r/wl as a scout, a solid rotation when done right you are using both energy and focus and not having that 4-5 second wait for energy much like a r/p would. You don't get any burn due to CDs. But it will be the same DPS as a r/s by the end of the fight.

regentego, what about the elite that modifies soul pain?
how much physical defense does it reduce and how many times does it stack?

Reduces defense by only 2%, I have not seen if it stacks, I will test that today. Your most powerful passive is the extra dark damage of white attacks it appears to be 1/10th the damage of low blow per hit. Its like one white attack hits twice.
