Observations

1. THIS THREAD IS MEANT TO BE INFORMATIVE TO THE CM'S. (And the community.)
2. No trolling etc...

I'll just get to the point. This is under the Champion thread so lets keep it about them.
A few "Observations" I have noticed over the recent weeks regarding Skills mainly has come down to a some high points.

1. Most important on my list is Rune Overload Removes buffs. Fix this, A tank has a hard time tanking when GOL, AMP, AOTW and others just disappear when using an aoe…

2. Rune pulse acts differently based a few things..
2.1 When you are in Shield form, Chain drive works on average 80% more of the time.
2.2 When you are in Shield form, Rune pulse Does more damage then when not in Shield form. (Chain drive is not on.)
2.3 When down to the Last second of Chain drive, Rune pulse will act as a 2 second cast time.

3 Forge Effect takes 2 second to activate from the instant you hit the mob, This allows for Rage generation and Chain drive to activate slowly.

4 (Champ/war) Slash should interrupt the mob but doesn't. Power slash elite should allow it to.

5 Switching between shield form and not sometimes produces a Text glitch in Your Pdef.

6 Imprisonment pulse lags people out the same way the Spirit cores did in Xaviera

7 Using Remodeled Body in shield form then switching out of shield form will cancel the Remodeled body Buff.

8 (Champ/Rouge) using Shadow pulse while in Shield form does nothing.

9 Rune draw will sometimes NOT draw the target yet Aggro it.

10 Energy Restore Refuses to work For champions Exception is champ/war.

EDIT 1: RUNE PULSE DOE NOT HAVE AN AGRRO MODIFIER IN SHIELD FORM
Edit 2: Haven of departure overwrites the Dwarf starter zone Teleport

This will be edited as things get fixed and Added.

(I'm not a CM, but I do help gather feedback each week).
I have already reported the (10 Energy Restore Refuses to work For champions Exception is champ/war.) as an issue that needs to be dealt with.
As for the other things, I will send this forum post to be looked at by the Game Improvement department.

Isn't she amazing xd :pp good that we know at least some of the issues will be fixed, do you know if they have anything planned for champ this maintenance?

I don't get that type of info, unfortunately!
But, I do know, I sent that information off about a week and a half to two weeks ago because I kept seeing/ hearing people talking about it. I had a ton of data on it from forums and tickets, so it's very helpful for me to read your posts and suggestions and such :)

Do you think that you could maybe pretty please ask the devs if they could share info about what they are doing? Its like as if you're back in school and you're paired with the smart kid who wants to do all the work and doesn't share it with you. Then you two realize that it is actually an oral report and you two have to present what he wrote about and you know nothing of. Upsetting your audience :D

Communication for the soul man :D (I'm not on anything and I'm not sharing)

It'd be helpful to at least know what they are trying to do. Most of us know there are no guarantees, but it would really help the morale of the playerbase.

IMO so far in this presentation and in others you are going to F. You two work something together or you're going to get detention :P

I've found that sometimes randomly Ch/R's Shadowstab will cost the energy, and do the motion, yet only the second smaller hit will actually hit. The first hit just isnt there. It's not very common though. I find it to be more common on the first hit of aggro.

First Time I have heard about this one. Sounds to me like the same issue as Shadowpulse not working in shield form, Might be related.

I believe Forge is the counter part to a Knights Enhanced armor. Therefore they are both 5 Minutes. I know this is Annoying and sometimes we forget and screw the group up :P but somethings we have to deal with. I think 5 minutes was intentional.

Oh and Hathore VERY nice to see your still around. :D Been along time since we have seen you? They keeping you busy? :)

For Dwarves in general Black Codex isn't working. I don't know the specific places, but whenever I try to port to one of them it says my level is too low

Raksha Temple is the only one I know, anyone know any others?

I have heard about this, as well. However this seems to share the same issue as Energy restore. It doesn't think champion is a valid class.

can some one post aggro modifiers plz?

like for knight, wws dmg x10 = aggro, stuff like that.

i know of a champ/r having a hard time getting and keeping aggro, how is it one is supposed to gain initial aggro from a 2 seconds cast?...in mean with knights i just go up with hatred strike and wws, boom tons of aggro, thats great for op dps to lay into it asap, but i notice this champ/r doing a 2 second cast i think to gain initial aggro.


now i know im a knight, and i should only be concerned about knights and other tanking classes taking our jobs from us, but tbh, i think champ needs an intial burst aggro skill maybe, 2 second cast seems...weird and hindering.

We have one we use, (Energy restore and enraged if possible) Walk up to the mob slap it in the face, with forge buff on. You have 28 Rage for non champ/war, 79 if you are a champ/war.

With this rage pop Rune energy influx and then shock strike followed up by rune pulse. IF you had shield form on while doing this, when you hit the mob normally you should have chain drive activate about 90% of the time which allows for more agro and a instant cast on rune pulse.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: ok so I used Shock Strike on a plump hare in Rorazan and came up with these numbers...
I hit him with JUST Shock strike :
Threat meter shows 174243
Combat log shows 17424
Side note I was in shield form when using the skills.

Doing some basic math you come up with an agro modifier of 17424 x 10 = 174240 (The extra 3 agro are explained by the time it took me to run away form the mob.)

Answer; 10x multiplier of aggro.

Rune pulse without chain drive was : Critical hit here.
Threat meter 47239
Comabt log 47236
Not sure what to make of that...

With chain drive it was : critical hit
Threat meter 56339
Combat log 56336

I am not sure what is going on here... But it appears that Rune pulse has no agro modifier in shield form I will add this to the main list.

Since we're on the topic of champion bugs here... and we have a lot of other people with champion toons lurking about... let me throw this one out there.

Has anyone ever noticed that the "white hit" dynamic sometimes abruptly stops and you disengage fighting your target? For example, when trying to DPS down the iron barriers in COT you dont have enough cannons to get through, if you run out of rage & dont wanna burn pots on minigames, you're left to white hit those things to build the rage up. Ive noticed when going through my rotation and burning up all my accumulated rage, sometimes he never takes that next "white hit" swing and I have to manually force him to attack.

This is him as a ch/wl when this is happening btw...

Not in CoT because I normally run that as Ch/R, but I have noticed that my swing timer seems to mess up as CH/WL. It might be missing a white attack but I'm not sure since I was running GCH at the time and didn't have time to check my combat log. I'll try CoT as CH/WL and see if I can repeat this problem.
