If you must know, I was going to ask what the aggro modifier of Rune Pulse was outside of shield form is. It wasn't until 30 seconds after I posted that I remembered it doesn't have a modifier. Hence the reason for edit....

I tried the Black Codex transport today 8/20/2012 and it appears to be fixed. I used to get a "This character is not high enough level" error even though my champion was 72. I tried this on my 72Ch/72R/63Wl.

Has anyone ever noticed that the "white hit" dynamic sometimes abruptly stops and you disengage fighting your target? For example, when trying to DPS down the iron barriers in COT you dont have enough cannons to get through, if you run out of rage & dont wanna burn pots on minigames, you're left to white hit those things to build the rage up. Ive noticed when going through my rotation and burning up all my accumulated rage, sometimes he never takes that next "white hit" swing and I have to manually force him to attack.

Ok I have been testing. The swing appears to be fine on Ch/Wl. It looks like the animation messes up but the white hit still goes off in accordance with attack speed.

Also looking at Ch/R it looks like the animation when spamming Shadowstab messes up but the swing is still causing damage if I am reading the combat log correctly.

Wanted to add as Ch/Wl after testing Indomitable Spirit + 55 appears to have no effect on the damage of Dark Energy Strike even though it says it should double the damage. I am getting the heal off it though. Attacking my favorite mob in the Ancient Kingdom, Plump Hares.

I see Dark Energy Strike do 24-36k + 1600-2500 dark damage non crit with no buffs up and 48-52k + 1600-2500 dark damage crit with no buff up. With Indomitable Spirit + 55 I see Dark Energy Strike do 24-36k + 1600-2500 dark damage non crit + 6500 health healed and 48-52k + 1600-2500 dark damage crit + 6500 health healed.

Can anyone else confirm?

Confirmed.

Ch/Wl has great solo-ability... but the complete lack of any non-rage based useful attacks without a casting bar is really created a handicap for this class combo.

My Ch/Wl is only 69/51 right now, he has mage as 3rd class. Im putting serious consideration into swapping to Ch/M because this handicap is becoming so crippling as the game progresses.

Im just crossing my fingers that energy restore gets enabled for Ch/Wl as it will help a tad... But at the rate things in this game get handled, we prolly wont see it till sometime in 2013 :)

Wanted to add. I tried ISS Energy Restore today 09/06/12 and it appears to be fixed for champions. Tried it on Ch/R and Ch/Wl.

For Ch/r I would like to understand why Shadow Pulse seems so weak to Rune Pulse. The % are close to each other and Shadow Pluse is listed Higher % by a small amount but hit for about half to 3/4ths of Rune pulse. I can walk up to a mob cast Rune Pulse and drop the mob with one hit......Shadow Pulse usually has the mob run up to me with half to a 1/4 HP still left.

Simple answer: casting time.

Non-instant spells/abilities get a modifier to damage based on their casting time. I think that it is just as simple as Rune Pulse = 2 sec cast time, thus 2x multiplier (compared to the stated dmg amount on the skill). Could be wrong on the exact amount, but definitely there is a multiplier there based on casting time.

It is the same for mages with Flame vs. Fireball for example.

No, Rune Pulse has a X2 multiplier because it has a 2 second cast time (it still gets the multiplier when Chain Drive activates and makes it instant), whereas Shadow Pulse has no multiplier because it's an instant ability. Cooldown has nothing to do with it. Also, Shadow Pulse does less damage than Shadowstab and costs the same amount, so unless you're using it for it's ranged properties, using Shadow Pulse is generally a bad idea.

Wanted to add on 03/01/2013 [COLOR=white !important]can't equip any of the general item set skills on my Ch/r or CH/WL again. I can however equip it on my WL/r or WL/Ch. This time it is not a character level error it just does not allow me drag it into the skill slot. No error displayed. I had posted this in another thread but I wanted to add it to this thread to keep it all in one place.[/COLOR]

Thank you. Just tried it and it worked. Instead of dragging the ISS onto the Item-Set box you just drag it onto a hot bar. So I guess I can use as many general ISS skills as I want. Nice that there is a work around.

I reported [COLOR=white !important]Indomitable Spirit which is supposed to double the damage of your Dark Energy Strikes does not appear to be adding the damage. It appears that it grants you an automatic crit with Dark Energy Strike. The way it reads I was expecting it to double damage on all including crits. They just need to change the tool tip (or make it so if you crit for say 100k it will do 200k [/COLOR]:cool:.)

I donno if it is fixed but it does double damage.... by hitting twice
I like it but it kinda sucks b/c it seems to cast the double hit longer. (saves 20 rage whoopie) but cant spam. seems to take 5-7 seconds for the whole shebang.
