Just to let you all know if you learn this elite skill*Deep Roots* your new briar shield will no longer allow you to use the Thorn arrow elite skill.
I cant believe that, they would have fully tested these elites before implementing them.

Thanks for the warning. No new elites for me! Not that it was possible with having to down level 75 world bosses three times.
Seeing as I will be holding off on getting this skill now, what are your observations about "Deep Roots."
Just used it in siege and the stun is pretty cool, it actually looks like the Heart of the Oak Skill where the giant hand comes out of the earth and the range bonus is definitely nice but yea the lose of the Thorn Arrow skill made me kind of mad.

No it wasn't.
Are getting your 60/60 elites something you have to do twice? So if i pick up the wd/s 60/60 elite that reduces chiron's casting time, will i automatically get my thorn arrow (upgraded/screwed over?)
Yes you automatically get both elites
You cant get your 70 elite unless you have learned your 60. I have the Proof of Progress in my bag for 60 and i just tried to get the 70 from the dragon and he wont give it to me.
So it doesnt give you all the lower elites like it says in the patch notes and im glad it doesnt i was just taking a chance that i could get the 70 and skip the 60 for now. Thorn arrow is more important then the 60 elite, so i guess i wont have the 60 or 70 till they fix it.

Just logged on after a short break from the game and noticed it was insta cast now =o. Couldn't agree more with you lol...didn't think they would ever change it given the amount of damage it does but not complaining.
