So i got a silly question, but was the warmongrer set bonus intentional? i mean i feel we got nerfed hard... wheres our damage? wheres our crit? ... is it a joke? the only thing i would get is wisdom and mattack... man i can tier a couple peices higher and get that in a heart beat.. which is prolly what i will do. ill go and get the mem 72 peices and maybe come out better. or am i wrong? with the hippo set i cant use shoulders anyway. so 3 peices is all i need.....

come on guys... give me numbers... give me something im confused im lost. i dont understand this move in the game

Most of the -2, and -7 gear sets are crap (for all classes), and this one also follows the same pattern. It's a good thing, it means you don't have to regear again.

did not check exactly on heal sets, but 3 pieces kulech + complete 75 worldboss 3 piece seems what most classes are doing atm, so ... probably its the right way to go.

But no what im trying to find out is if this set is gonna be fixed. if you look at all the other sets like this , they give damage, crit, healing power for the 4 peice set.......... this one goes 2pc =wisdom, 3pc=mattack, 4pc = healing power...

I dont see it as to fair. even with the hippo set being out. if they actually gave me a 4 peice set bonus the 4pc would be better then hippo 3pc and wear the hippo pants individually.....

currently you cant count on anything, not even the tooltips on your weapon or the upgrades via plussing working properly.

I havnt bothered with numbers yet but as far as I know, 3 piece PoL with normal mode headress along with hardmode chest and boots seems to be the best combo. Much like using queens headress over Annelia when we couldn't down annelia for the 4 piece ^.^

2hm, full pol set, normal mode headpiece and world of greenery ring:

crit:5037
healing bonus: 24506

2hm, full pol set, normal mode headpiece and ifur ring

crit: 5379

3hm, full pol set and ifur ring

i didn't bother including any other attributes since that's all based off your own personal stat preference.

all those are done with 2hd staff since i don't use wand/shield combo. And all t7. i can always do that up as well and post it for anyone else's curiosity.

I've actually decided already to go the 2pc hm, full pol, normal head peice, but my issue is i do hve 2 world of greenery rings, and i have the level 70 necklace t8.. should i get rid of the t8 necklace, and go for the 3 peice 75 accessory set? ... any suggestions?

I'd go 1 greenery 1 75 ring, 2 75 mem earrings, mem neck. Since you're playing d/wd, a burst healing class, crit is a bit more emphasized, so the 1 greenery + mem set would accommodate for that. The mem neck and the boss neck are almost identical IIRC, but using the whole set pulls away. I might be wrong though, been awhile since I let my od world boss neck go and compared the numbers.

Oya, and thanks to Shinryuh, I pulled od legs last night

I'm still iffy about using the normal mode head piece mix with the chest/boots. I still need to see what my crit % is at and decide from there if I want more HPBI or crit. But imo, choosing between 3 piece hm+ pol and 2 piece hm, 1 piece norm + pol is really a matter of what class combo you play, and what your playstyle is. I'm at ~69% crit rate atm with full shadoj/tosh heal set. Ideally want to get 70-73% crit, so we'll see where the pol set+kulech hm set gets me at.

Basically, assuming I go for the more crit-based route, i'd go

Accessories: Ifur (magic resist is awesome in pvp yo)/mem ring, 2 mem earrings, mem neck
Main set: 2 piece hm (chest/boots) normal mode head piece
Lower set: full PoL set (legs/belt/shoulders) + Callous Sacrifice gloves
Either mem or shell wisdom cape

For the more HBI based set, just exchange the normal mode head piece for the hard mode head, (but really, the HPBI gain is so little for crit loss...) exchange the ifur for world of greenery. (but i hate ud). Also, ifur and 75 ring are interchangeable as long as you have 1 to complete the set already. Like i said, I just like the extra mresist for my pvp sake xD

although i might be cheap and skip PoL stats on some pieces. Theyre a bit overrated for the cost imo. Otherwise it'd be the regular:

dont have any of the ghost stats at hand , but if you cannot get "enough" pol stats all the time thought about tiering the item a tier higher instead? with the mass of crap t5 stats (that cannot be used if your using pol stats...) available. but depens on the ghost stats if its worth it i suppose.

Actually i want to get back to the main point... Is our set bonus really suppose to not give nothing but healing power? .....
I mean look at tosh set bonus...

2 pc = +140 wisdom
3 pc = +1620 mattack
4 pc = 1000 healing power increase points, +60 magical damage points, +100 magical crit...

the new instance set bonus.....

2 pc = 200 wisdom
3 pc = 2100 mattack
4 pc = 1800 healing power increase points

Look at mages tosh vs kbn set bonus

tosh =

2 pc = +140 int

kbn
2 pc = +200 int
3 pc = +2100 mattack
4 pc = +250 magical damage points, + 200 magical crit....

at least they get damage and crit!!!!!!!!!! and ya know ... thier 3 pc is mattack... something they can actually use....

It's trash... it's just like the shell gear, so now you introduce these world bosses that make it to where people can get gear that is way better then the instance gear.. weapons that dont mean shit... and still expect people to pay to push content? ...
My guildies only log on to do the world bosses.... No one wants to push the new instance, because they dont need to , why waste real fucking money on an instance that has trash? the only thing good about the new instance is the stats. But hell the stam/hp and stam/wis from the pol is better then the instance stats. you just cant clean stat with them...

so is that what it is? you all said hey... they can tier shit higher with all of these but lets give them best gear and best stats but make em clean stats? think again theres random extraction stones XD aint gotta use the stats.

anyway i think im getting sidetracked. the point is , everyone is bitching this chapter

1... random stats on mems? cant get int/mattack and best stats from mems.. but can get stam/def and wis/hp from easy mode ^.^ yes im happy but hate hearing people bitch

2... fail ass weapons... really? i wasnt gonna replace mine anyway thats why i t10'd that ho

3... -.^ an instance that is more pointless then ac for a second content release in a row now with nothing to do and guildies quitting left and right?
