Of battle.

I have play wd/s don't get me wrong. Just saying wd/r is totally viable and trust me, they keep up in the DPS field.

All wardens are good for sw IMO.

All have wardens have hoto to block 2 attacks. Movement restriction to lock down runners and pets for certain situation.

But the benefit of wd/r in sw are their superhaxor running speed buffs and being able to use throw a 4200% DPS 2h-weapon every 4s CD at people.

The oak walker can take out defensive tower behind walls, much like Chiron but in melee range.

They don't need to rely on Chiron all the time to kill people. U can cc/throw/ss in a second, that would usually down anyone and they also have dodge bonus from rogue side.

The only downside to wd/r for sw is that they do not have a healing
Skill like wd/s.

You assumed wrong, now I have to make a fool of you and defend my wifey. Sadakko is clearing KBN hm nightly with our guild and puts up great dps numbers, perhaps you just lack the skill to properly play wdn/r so should probably not talk about a class you know nothing about.

hmm...lack of skill? Im just saying that in general, Wd/R cannot compete with Wd/S. If your wife can do good DPS on Wd/R, then i think its her skill, not an OP class combo thats doing the job.

That is considered exploiting and if you get caught expect a holiday :) Same as jumping the back wall sure in can be done but its not in the sprirt of the game.

Worst part about that is if a tower hits your pet it auto reacts and charges off through the wall. One of the reasons I dont siege much anymore tired of all the hack accusations.

Not trying to have a dig as I have said before Wd/R is great fun and I enjoyed playing it immensely. When i first rerolled to Scout I would still play Wd/R in siege (the Uber speed in siege extra dodge and yes throw hits like a firetruck)

PvE Wd/S does more dps with Morale boost Secret agreement and ofc Chiron (Mine never seems to miss gets dodged abit though)
Wd/R on the other hand can build alot from chaining Crit hits from Oak Walkers Sepal Stab.

Kinda sucks that my server is all neg aggro. All of the dps run 2 recon X, and my Rogue side is gone now for Warrior. I do have a r/wd alt tho unfortunately it costs to much to gear and lvl both toons.

At the end of the day we all have differing toons and opinions, The best thing about the 5.0.1 revamp of Wardens is that many have become viable endgame options. Great to see runs that aren't just Tank healer and r/s w/r all though its slowly becoming Runes of Warmages

The old tatic of waiting to send the chiron is not really working anymore, since the cancel attack function of warden(and priest) pets was removed.

I have experimented and the most success with not using Explosion of Power on the chiron until a little bit after the burst phase, if at all.

Also, if there are any aggro reduction that can be cast on chiron, ie k/p Holy Protection, works too.

edit: If using the generic wd stat build of str/patt/stam instead of wd/s build of str/dex/patt/stam, the aggro of the chiron wont be as significant of an issue due the the lack of accurracy.

If you put your pet on stop, and wait to send it to attack, that is waiting a few seconds before your pet joins the fight. The lose of cancel has nothing to do with that.

Hey Now what's up with warden on warden violence? We have enough crap coming from everyone else to start bickering amongst ourselves. Warden/rouge and warden/scout both out dps me, so you should both be happy you didn't roll a wd/ dr....

WD/DR is not a dps class, it is a tank class, and i can tank kbn in mostly dps gear and a few pieces of my healer gears for more pdef, and even then i still put out quite a bit of dps considering i play it as a tank.

As for wd/s vs wd/m. i have played both in my time of being a warden, and looking at the 70 elite wd/m should have more burn dmg using cooldowns, and wd/m is no longer the hybrid class it used to be, but to use wd/m efficiently you need to alternate between charged chop and wind chop for max dps, which most people never consider.
