Just to clarify................the crit only applies to the skill Savage Whirlwind, not your overall crit for everything. But im not too sure if its a flat 50% added to it or a 50% increase to your current crit.

If that is true and only SW is affected by the +50% crt chance then don't get the 70/70 elite. The crt and stun, nice in pvp come with a 85% dps nerf of the skill. If the 50% is global to all skills like an internal buff than yes... get the elite.

Savage Whirlwind has an 85% nerf after getting the 70/70? I don't recall seeing anything removed from the skill after receiving the elite... Only see that it now as one additional effect?
Edit: Aww snaps, it really is nerfed :/ /rage

BOOOOOOOOO just another way to hold the melee warrior down

so this is absolutely true ??? if i get 70 elite SW is null and void until a fix is implemented? really is 85% dps nerf to skill?

is it 85% reduced dps orrrr 85% of the 600% something odd number of dps it has? (Descriptive huh?)
like is it now below 300% dps skill is biggest reason im askin here.

Well if u have 4k crit and that equals 70% it wouldnt matter whether it went up %wise or from your overal crit. If crit were to add 50% you would reach 6k and at 2k = 35% it would be 105%. If you were to thate half of your % (35) and add to 70% you would still get 105%. I don't think it matters which way you go with it.

Crit is:
((Crit number -(30xmoblevel+300)/critnumber)+1)/2
As you see, adding 50% to critnumber ( adding 2K to 4k) is different than adding 35% to 70%
Hard to show without being able to write math formulas properly.
At lvl77, say you have 6k crit which is 76.96%.
If you add 76.96 x 50%, then crit chance is 115.45%.
If you add 3k crit to 6k, 9k crit is only 85.5%
