Point is, instead of getting all up set about your tanks inability to hold agro, complain to gameforge to ride RW harder about class balence. Knights needed an over hual in chapter 2. Really needed one in chapter 3. And chapter 4/5 full rehual. None of which ever happend. Also, want to complain about your knight not doing a good job, try lvling one yourself as a knight main. It is very time consuming even with 40k hp 30k att.
I know what its like trying to level a k/s XD My p/k/s is 77/75/75 and for the knight side I tried questing on it....with priest gear >.< Took me about 10 minutes to kill 1 mob, got to love those 8k punishment hits....
@Cerb- In AU server, where the tank is being questioned, all the DPS have -90% aggro already. So being a K/S over a K/P is better in this case because aggro can no longer be lowered below -90%.
@Soul- While it is true that Knights need an overhaul, the situation in this thread is clearly a L2P issue.
Correct with both. And yes, we had a major look into what he was buffing and using, while he was using his skill correctly, we overlooked possibly one of the most important parts...the initial burn foods such as strong stim etc.
Apparently our tank asked an old player a while back about whether or not to use normal 'physical dps' burn foods as a tank and they replied it was a stupid idea...im assuming that was their response due to the server running neg aggro anyway, so our tanks could even tank with a white level 1 sword (did that once in gch lol), but we discarded that false info and got his buff order down pat.
Now as long as I wait 3-4 seconds after he starts the boss I can finally full burn, though still only just manages to hold aggro. He is nerfing out a some of his dodge/parry gear for pa/crit items currently, so shouldn't have any issues soon. I believe he is almost 40k pa unbuffed atm...so sorta getting there.
