lol if you read the previous psots Cike I'm pretty sure I mentioned that CC orinigally was a cast and s/wd's still did fine, simply b/c they ddin't use CC int heir rotation.

Nobody complained about it because no one used it or stated for it . It was just one of many unused skills that remained at a low level and never upgraded. But once Charged Chop became knockdown, instant cast it became a very important part of every S/WD 's rotation and gearing and was upgraded to the max level. Now all that time and TP have been spent to have Charged Chop at its maximun use are made useless which causes a big problem. Every time they nerf a skill they should give use 3 reset stones so we can readjust all our classes to reflect the nerf and get back the TP we wasted on upgrading that skill and the skills that we upgraded to make maximum use of the now nerfed skill. Because not only is the class that has the nerfed skill messed up but all the other skills we used in concert are nerfed too as every rotation and level of the other skills are not appropriate to the now nerfed skill and its effects.

how did you "stat" to use a certain skill...and sure you have to change rotation, big deal...the only valid argument I can see is the fact that you now have wasted a lot of tp on a bad skill...yeah, every skill adjustment should have a reset stone along with it, but since they didn't give you a reset, then you can't do anything about it...

on a side note, I think every skill adjustment should automatically reset the effected skill(s) lvl to 0, and reset tp for that 1 skill, so if you choose to lvl it again, you can, or put the tp somewhere else...but a reset stone for every skill adjustment would be a bit much...

You stat for a skill, in this case where Charged Chop gets its damage from the primary weapon so instead of being a stat holder weapon which your main hand weapon would be for a scout having high level stats but only being tier 5 doing low damage , you now go for a tier 9 main hand weapon with poor stats but high damage. So in this case I have to dump my high damage main hand weapon with no stats and replace it with a stat holder weapon but low damage because Charged Chop is no longer a main part of my rotation and in addition the skill I use to replace it will require millions of TP to upgrade.

unless they changed it when they made it instant, the original s/wdn CC was based on ranged damage...it became a 2nd snipe...

Oh please. It's not a bad skill. It is just like any other skill really. 1 second cast time + no gcd is the same thing as instant with gcd. Heck, could probably throw a curse rune in your dagger and have it be less than 1 second.. would that actually work? I've never thought about it..

Anyway, the skill is far from useless. 1000% dps skill is far higher than anything else a Scout has. It does the exact same damage it used to. S/wd dps should not go down at all. All it did was make it less overpowered in PvP.

For the most part, your right. The only other advantage that CC had that you didn't mention was that the skill didn't trigger GCD after it was used before. So it was practically a free throw in skill every 15s. So it did become extremely useful, but just liek the did to reflected shot and thorn arrow, they don't like skills that don't trigger GCD on scouts.

lol, I have a curse rune in me dagger for snipe and combo shot...dunno if it helps but since no1 wants to buy the rune, no harm in trying...

Im going to start playing again. Its a pity to see the scouts taking such a large hit but I have never been a fan of rerolling to the flavor of the next chapter. I will stick with my S/Wdn and hope for the best in the future. Its been awhile but I see they put diamonds in the AH now.. that's a plus.. after a year siege is still in beta.. *rollseyes*
