scout/mage is imba.

any here using t11 shackles on scout/mage with 60-70 elites?
it is very good.

i noticed a pattern the last few months..
war/mage
rogue/mage

please be scout/mage next ^ ^


i only have 1 small suggestion for the 60 elite to the devs..

on the 60 elite, it gives wind arrow a "chance" to inflict additional wind damage.
i think it should be changed to "also" inflicts additional wind damage
make the skill always inflict wind damage on scout/mage.

if that is a no go... then change the shot+fireball skill
so everytime shot is cast, a fireball will also be cast instantly. ^ ^ (instead of "chance" )




tl;dr
got s/m 60-70 elites. am using a t11 shackles.. it owns.
request elite skill upgrade from "chance" to "always"

Perhaps we should let them dual wield staves and couple magic and physical damage together.

Perhaps let blood arrow increase magical damage along with physical damage too. And remove the HP loss, and make it a passive.

I'm ok with this as long as it only applies to characters who are already a s/m; newly rolled s/m will only be able to use mdam/pdam acquired from their chest piece with no contribution from their weapons.

Personally I'd like to see some modifiers to Ignite.. it's only based on ranged weapon, nothing seems to increase the damage on it that i've seen

edit: And i've tried both scout and mage gear (although mage gear wasn't as strong) and I really don't see any 'huge' differences one way or the other to ignite

...and get it dodged by everyone, unless ur dex statting like mega i guess

And I think both magic and phys immune negate the damage as well since the magic part doesnt hit if the phys shot doesn't land

And a mage shield will completely make their arrows useless too, because if the 300 or so physical damage is absorbed by the shield, the magic damage doesn't activate either.

I think it's because you would need the Scout/Mage lvl 60 elite to equip a staff. But if OP Vamp ticks is what you want roll Warrior/Scout with a 2Hander Axe LOL. Just Vamp and run away!

Came here to ask a s/m question and found this recent(ish) thread, so gonna plop it here.

Is blazing energy working as intended? The skill description says it has a chance to cast fireball with shot, but it doesn't seem like a true fireball. More like a lvl1 fireball rather than the ranked up version, which in my rotation deals much more damage in comparison. I'm only 36/27 so maybe it's too early to tell? I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bug though... the more I learn about this game the more I see it's a bug-riddled and poorly balanced mess, howbeit an addicting mess. Thanks for any feedback

I don't play s/m, but I wouldn't be surprised. The r/m 'Enchanted Throw' is the same. It only throws a level 1 "Throw" rather than the leveled version.

If these skills are indeed bugged, I'm really disappointed. Well, disappointed in either case. I would be throwing money at this game if all class combinations were more balanced (or at least useful in some meaningful capacity) and if the developers put more effort into fixing bugs. As it is I can't bring myself to spend money on something that will ultimately frustrate and anger me. Not sure I want to spend the time just tinkering around either.

The class system here is seriously a thing of beauty.. if it worked optimally. A real shame.

It has always been the same with RW. Even their newest release that recently went into open beta has more bugs than it should for an open beta.

Its sad because their games have huge potential, just poorly managed and little care for bugs.

No clue about s/m, but you definitely don't want to see r/m enchanted throw using the plussed up version of throw.
