Rogue/Mage is a pretty good combo as well right now. A lot of end-game or close to end-game rogues rolled that class. I personally didn't roll it and I don't know the perks of the class besides just the general skills you get (Silence, Lightning..) but by the number of people rolling it, it's definitely worth looking into.

It's because the 15 elite skill is vastly overpowered right now. It adds a Throw skill use onto every auto-attack, thus you get 2 for 1 attacks. And ranged AoE skills are nice, but it puts a cooldown timer on Premeditation. It's a good class but a bit broken at the moment which is why I didn't suggest it.

could not be more wrong, the main elite skill is illusion blade dance which makes the r/m atm the highest dps r/anything in game during burn phase ( r/wrd will win otherwise ) all said the r/m is the best human combo u can get when it comes to dps (and i think the best in pvp or atleast up there)

Yes, everyone rolled r/m for the 70 elite. Forget about the 15 elite that adds in tons more damage during every fight with every mob, its all about the last elite in game for the combo that lasts for only 30 seconds. Yep, makes sense.

r/wd > r/m

yea i said that in my post but atm with how stupid easy the new instance is its r/m > r/wrd in there. other wise r/wrd is boss >> r/any combo
but the point was to prove the other poster wrong when he said the reason everyone is rolling r/m is because of 15 elite (while its ok its not the reason) and that its broken class which is why he would not suggest it, but everything the class has going for it would suggest the opposite. its hands down the best human rogue combo atm

R/Wd is invalid in this arguement as the OP is a human. I can't imagine he'd want to make a new character...
But you are right, forgot about the Combo Throw damage boost, makes it throw 4 weapons instead of 2.
The main issues I remember from R/M when I played it for a while after the rework were that Combo Throw damage was broken (Fixed now), Day of Rain damage was broken (Broken still), and that Enlivened Blade damage was broken (Fixed now). Day of Rain damage is still broken right now, and I don't know where the 15 elite skill is figuring out what level Throw to use.
The 70 elite is nice but it's guaranteed not the reason why players are flocking to R/M over other rogue combos. The prevailing mechanics are Enchanted Throw and Combo Throw, the 70 elite is nice for burn mechanics in PvE but otherwise proves that there isn't much use for it in PvP.
