Warden/Scout Build help please

Hello, I'm brand new to RoM and decided to play a Warden/Scout. I've looked all over and can't seem to find a recent build guide specifically for Warden/Scout. Could one of you kind souls out there please respond with what is the best skills for *both* classes, using Warden as main? I need to know not only the best skills, but also whether to max them or take them to a certain level. I would like to be primarily a Tank/solo dps.

I know this is asking a lot and I will greatly appreciate any and all help!

Charged chop should be a big one. Briar shield is also important. I always played Wd/W/R but those are the obvious no brainers. Also when you get the two handed weapon mastery, that's a big one. Oh, and don't level thorny vine. It's ok at first, but it sucks in the end. POTWS is fun because it hits three at once, so is nice for taking out groups of mobs. I can't say I know too much about scout though, but remember you get a skill reset at level 30. Just test out some skills, and use that once you hit like 60 and you know what skills are useful. Lame answer, I know, but really when you use skills you start to realize pretty quick what won't work.

Well as for tanking and solo DPS I would rather recommend WD/W, anyway....
As for WD/S and lvling all skills maxable to 50, should be maxed around 55. Charged Chop would be your main concern (maxed from 1-80 all the time) on pet side centaur arrow, and valiant shot should be round 50, but don't rush with it (centaur would be your "main attack skill" during lvling without decent eq). As for the tanking Cross Chop + Frantic Briar, as they are only skills with aggro multiplier on pet side Punch (only if you have free TP, if not than keep it round 60?). As for DPS side Untamable, again Cross Chop. On scout side Vampire Arrow, Shot, Swiftness and Speed Shooting. I would also recommend to get set skill from GC (DPS), dalanis merchant (-aggro), HoS/ToSH and probably SC.
As for the rest skills:
Anti-Magic Arrow - well I see it only worth TP on PVP you should and most centrality would have statted bow/xbow so dmg from skill would be really small also mana return is worthless and too random.
Beast Tamer - for DPS side probably good skill, but still Centaur crit is only 30% stronger than normal hit so 50 maybe 60 - mor only with free TP.
Elven Prayer - usable when soloing, but I would keep it low again 50 maybe 60
Natural lifeline - minimum 60 would try get it to 80
Morale Boost - max it after Charged Chop, Cross Chop and Frantic Briar should be 80
Elven Guidence - great skill on WD/W with 60 elite on WD/S pretty much useless bring it to 50 if you don't want to use mana potions, but thats all.
Of course you also have to max Briar Shield.

As for the boss rotation DPS would go:
Vampire Arrow (going to boss)+Charged Chop+Untamable+Charged Chop+Gc Set skill+Charged Chop+Cross Chop (if you have some mana)+anything without CD. You sould also spam (during normal rotation) Frantic Briar.
As for tank I was tanking as WD/S only once and I don't like it, but probably same as for DPS but you open fight with Cross Chop, and "keep it use on CD" (remember to take advantage of no GCD on Charged Chop).

As for statting probably something like 3xSta/Hp 3xSta/Def. Personally I am statting my WD/W 2xSta/Def 4xSta/Hp. If you would like to have some more aggro, than use some Sta/Patt or Str/Patt, but you shouldn't need it.

Awesome! Thank you both for your detailed posts. I'll take it all under advisement and see how it goes. Might even experiment with a WD/W, after all this mess with the NPC's on Artemis is cleared up.

Again, thank you both so much for your time and effort.

For tanking, i enjoy wd/s soo much more only for the fact of.... range. :)
pisses me off playing wd/w and im looking for my antimagic arrow ( One of best tanking skills imo)
But wd/w still very awesome in its own rights. I was just a scout for a long time and cant be without my range haha :D

Well for range you can always use your pet, but I have to agree, it's a bit problematic on WD/W, as only "range" aggroing skill is movement restriction

Go play as a wd/w. You are just gimping yourself playing as a wd/s if you want to "tank", since you wont be using the chiron dps. Heck, all warden tanks dont really use their pet for more than the passive buff anyways.

to add to the rotation put by pietroasp, consider using joint blow(scout general skill) in there too. Because it does alot of damage and uses focus instead of mana, since mana will be an issue before getting really geared or in the long boss fights.

Please do not "class balanace" the tactics I use.

As for joint blow it depends... The skill is not taking advantage from any speed buff (lute, stimulant etc.), so it all depends on lag, you have to remember that there is small lag after every usage of CC (from my experience the lag strongly depends on server not even ping, but server itself), so you can't actually use skill right after CC, it's 0,2-0,6s "micro CD" (again from my experience, probably could be lower/higher), so if skill doesn't make enough damage and during full burn it doesn't it is pretty much useless and again untamable+VA+moraleboost and for me problem is not to use whole focus, but focus regeneration.
