Scout/Rogue or Scout/Warrior for dps?

So right now I have a low level S/P. I enjoy playing the scout class, and chose priest because I like the class and heals are always awesome (my main char is a p/k).

Anyway, I'm wondering what to pick for my third class, that I would switch out with priest when I want to do more dps. I know I want scout to be my primary. I've been thinking of having Rogue or Warrior as my other class. I would like to hit hard but not be overly squishy...which makes me think that Rogue might not be the right choice? Or does its speed and dps make up for low def and hp?

I'm not too focused on pvp, except for siege. I want to be able to dps in instances with my guild, with scout primary because I love the class.
S/R, S/W? Any other suggestions for S/x?

Thanks.

neither. Scout class is inherently broken until they decide to fix. so while you may have fun playing it. It's not really a dps class.

Alright, but if you had to choose a secondary for scout, what would it be? :/
Or, a primary for scout secondary?

My goal in this game isn't to be "the best". I've spent too many mmos trying to be "the best" and realized that I wasn't having fun - and that it felt more like a second job than a game. I find scout class to be fun. And my goal here is exactly that.

The best second class for a scout is warden, It adds many offensive and defensive skills and gives you the highest defense with the briar shield and the best dps with the shot skill.

As mentioned all the way WD. From two you have chosen rouge, still DPS will be 2-4 times lower (from / wd) with already low DPS of all scouts.

Scout/warrior has many benefits also, Since nobody has mentioned I'll say a few.

1. Scout/warrior uses less ammunition, as you can spam wind arrows a lot more if you keep up your elite skill "mental focus"

2. Scout/warrior get's the most Patk of all scouts, making it more viable in high-pdef instances. As well as more damage in PvP

3. " " get's the most dexterity of all scout classes, and you get more Patk/dex than any other class due to the 15 elite.

4. " " Has potentially the highest Pdef of all the scout classes (however you sacrifice a large portion of Patk)

5. If you obtain either the 60 or 70 elite (I forget) You will wreck all casters in PvP in a 1v1 situation

6. Having an axe is cool, and gives your Vamp arrows a higher DoT (not really too big of a difference) as well as your auto attacks do significantly more damage (say your soloing or are force ported to a boss, more passive deeps)

7. Scout/warrior has some team interaction with one of the elites. (Increases all damage on target by 10% for 30s (60s CD)

Personally, I chose S/w because until scouts are fixed It fits me very well for Soloing, farming instances, mobs, and on the very few occasions I do siege war (due to time changes) I feel I'm better off being a S/w than anything else.

I could play S/wd, as I'm a S/W/Wd but I don't find S/Wd too fun, no team play at all, very selfish class. Not my style.

s/w has a debuff which makes the target suffer 10% more damage... combined with s/wd's forest guidance (same 10% extra damage received on target) the whole party will hit 20% harder. Making the combo = the same buff as ironblood will... aka amazing damage.

or u can simply have a k/w tank and enjoy 45% more received dmg
or have a wl/m at party and have a permanent debuff for 36% more magic dmg and let ur warmages solo scruti
just trolling, though these r fact

S/R also debuffs for 12% of DMG + 15% of deff.... As for debuffers still on top M/Wl with 30% def....

I also don't see anything special about S/W 60 and 70 lvl elites for PvP. 1s CD on all skills when there is GCD (no one really uses casting spelle on SW - ok Healers maybe, but still 1s makes them nothing) and more DMG on targets with less than 30% on 1 skill... Maybe in other game.

As for amunnition.... Well any scout really run out of it? Of course you can save like 20k/day, about 10 mobs with drop...

Only one adv. of S/W is patt, but still S/R skills would easily make up for it.

I cant say which is better s/r or s/w, since i have only played s/w for the past 3 years. Its not an OP class but it does do good damage none the less. The Target Lock skill which adds a 30s 10% all damage recieved debuff on target makes for a good instance choice combo.

The basic instinct elite gives a good increase to dex for a long 15mins. As mentioned in another post too, the mental focus skill gives you a regen of focus so you can spam wind arrows more than usual. Not to mention the warriors berserk skill that boosts patk by 30% 30seconds , granted at tax on you pdef but when timed right and aided by other buffed skills and potions you can survive the duration its being used.

Then theres the other elite that can be activated every 20seconds by chance when using shot skill. it increases the patk too. So if statted wisely and you master an efficient rotation of your skills you can generate a good patk and do some decent dps and sustained with mental focus and concentration.

I play the class because i find it fun and challenging, it gives me a variety of ways to approach a fight. All i can say is hope you find the class that makes you happy.
