Rogue/Champion questions

I've been looking at r/ch elites and also noticed that r/ch can wield 2h hammers. I want to play an awesome dwarf class and try out rogue, seeing as I've avoided it for the last 3 years. Question: I want to know if r/ch would be viable dps endgame, and if using a 2h hammer better than a pair of daggers

Not sure how viable the class is, and I personally haven't seen any around.
I do know though, that rogue/champion's dps will really suffer if you don't use daggers. All rogues get a dagger mastery which gives a huuuuge damage boost, and unfortunately, r/c doesn't get a hammer mastery as an elite.

- equipping hammers as rogue is simply NO. no other option that daggers.
- r/ch elites r total crap imo. only worth for the ch-side passives, like stamina and parry boost. only interesting elite is the 70 one that is rune-overload-type, meaning it does dmg on top of ur skills. u can use ur rage-based skills from ur champion side too as fillers in between to conserve energy.

imo, not one of the "good" combos out there. well, one of the worst tbh :/. u may see some roaming just cause of their ch/r side, not cause they "like" r/ch

Ah ok thanks for the advice. Still a couple of nub questions if thats ok lol.
1. 2hander out of question, but would it be plausible for me to use 1h hammer main hand for extra dmg, or parry boost?
2. There a couple of pvp gems in r/ch elite skill set, but there are also a few that debuff your target and increases dmg taken, couldnt that be valued in an endgame run?

- hammers should not be used at all as r/ch at mainhand since u lose the daggery mastery 70% dmg boost if not using daggers. at the very end, IF u want to take the "risk", u can go for hammer in offhand. so u ll get the parry boost etc from offhand ghost stats but will hit pretty low at offhand white hits. but offhand white hits r already low even with dagger since u need it for statting, not for its damage. so yes, u can try the combo dagger/hammer, if u find a nice 1h hammer usable at offhand (careful for the hammer not to write at description "main hand", but "1-h" instead, meaning it can be used at offjand)

- the pvp aspect of r/ch imo is fail. its a class designed for pvp mainly from ppl with IQ almost extinct. most of the skills r trap-based, like old r/m; however, they require rage. this means that ur "hide" benefit is screwed. yes some skills debuff the target for extra dmg taken or reducing defence etc, but from what i ve experienced in this game, noone will respect u for your debuff-job. there r other class combos that do x10 this debuff job and still r thrown to the side. for example wl/m can put debuff on target to receive 36% more fire dmg AND debuff for dark dmg AND increase cast speedof all raid AND attack speed of all raid. and these buffs/debuffs can be refreshed with no cd, meaning they r "PERMANENT". however i havent seen any yet taken at ruuns for its debuff/buff job, simply cause ppl dont respect the "support role" in ROM, although it can almost double the dmg output of each w/m or mage in the party. suport classes in rom r dead. yes dead. and if u want to play a rogue go for the dps role, else u ll probably be ignored. but thats just my noob opinons

support role exists

Well, i suppose you don't know how PPK burn bosses that fast. support role does exist, as we have a wl/m in guild that plays wl/m when we have mostly magic dps, and m/wl if we have mostly phys dps. if we could, we'd bring both. we always have a druid in party, due to debuffs. we almost always have someone to switch from rogue to s/r, due to what? debuffs, even if he deals 1/4 of dps if he was on rogue. Debuffs are one of the most important things about hard mode runs, and now with the tank meta in siege(400k+ hp and def) there too. just need to know how to play as a team.

Don't forget about the rare classes like d/r and wl/m that debuff. Aside from soul brand (increase fire/dark dmg) tht wl/m have, the also have crit resistance debuffs should they choose to forsake their dps.

Omg I heard someone say lock/m. Our guild is lucky enough to have both a m/lock and a lock/mage and the extra damage from debuffs is essential. "A good guild turns into a great guild when debuffs on bosses is realized." I only charge 50 cents per repost of that quote.
