R/S fresh build

So I am looking for a guide on a R/S build from the very first level onward. I want to be able to do this right. Last time I effed up and picked up a 3rd class around level 35 and eventually turned it into a M/S. I've scoured the forum archives, and all I could find were guides for more towards the endgame. I need early guides. Anyone who can give me some general guidelines or some pointers on how to do this properly? I'm talking rotations, gear loadout, TP distribution, all of it. If anyone has the time that would be excellent. Thanks a bunch guys.

Read my rogue guide! my old rogue guide will teach you how to handle yourself from ~60-70, the new one teaches you how to handle yourself from 70-82.

I dont have a link to the old one on hand, but the new one should have a link to the old one, and ill find that link for you just in case.

Use quest gear until 60. Use RT gear at 60. you will be ok. I promise. Skills are the same regardless of level, the only thing that varies with level is waht gear you use, but not what stat combination and not what stats are important.
Always maximize damage, then crit damage, then crit, then pa, then stam/def/hp.

Edit:
This is the old one. Darwec's New Rogue/Scout Guide

This is the new one. Darwec's Rogue Guide Mark 3

As far as endgame vs non endgame:
If you're not an endgamer, just ignore gear for a moment.
Follow my guides perfectly for rotation, that does not change based on level. Your rotation is always the same.
Keep the skills I list as important (there are a lot of them) at most 15 levels less than your level, most should be close to max if you can.
Absolutely get all the skills I listed to ATLEAST lvl 50. Keep them even until you hit 50.
Once you pass 50, start picking the ones you like and leveling them, but try to keep everything within 15 levels.

Now for gear:
Dont waste time on gear until you hit 60. My gearing guide starts at lvl 60. Go with that.

As far as the information covered goes, the older one is a lot more numbers, and teaches you more about why stats are important and such. The new one just tells you what your rotation should be, what stats you should use, and does not explain to you why. It covers R/s, R/wd and R/m.

Dearest Darwec,

I consider you to be a learned instructor on the art of the rogue build. And I thank you for your input. I only really have one question for you. As of right now, all I should really take from your guides is the rotations and the TP distributions until I get into the higher levels?

Thanks.

you should read the new guide and its rotation and tp distribution.
You should read the old guide and learn the math behind how rogues work. For example, my old guide explains why crit is important. Especially read the section on critvspa, but read all of the math covered in the old guide.

Once you are leveld you should come back and read the names of what gear to look out for.

That is a typo, right? Rogues stat dex, not def.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

^i did this. If you read the guides, its either 3 dex/pa or str/pa and 3 pa/hp or stam/pa type stats. OR you can do 4/2 or 5/1 or 6 dex/pa. w/e.

The point is, you need SOME amount of pa, and SOME amount of survivability. If you die, you're a worthless rogue.
