New Scout fix thread!

well, since the rest of the scout subforum has been archived, is it even worth it to make another scout thread? i mean pretty much every single fix proposed would be beneficial...they have all been discussed to death with the consensus being "yeah, RW plz implement"....

I think I would be happy if they would allow raid runes in bows/xbows. EVERY other weapon and class gets this benefit.
Sure I could ask for many more things but lets try something small and simple to start with so no major overhaul is done to make ppl say "see i told ya so..."

as well as acc runes. not that I have problems, but I really don't get the whole "not usable in ranged weapons" rune thing...I want to put another curse in my bow D:

that being said, the last "fix" was a complete joke...sure, scouts got a buff, but it hasn't changed anything, and equated to about a 1-2% overall DPS increase.

RW and GF could fix the Scout problems at any time if they wanted. They know what the problems are and they know how to easily fix them. They just don't want to fix the Scout class. They nerfed the class deliberately and they want it to stay nerfed. You are asking people who deliberately acted to make the Scout class useless and want it to stay useless, to undo what they did and wanted to do. They still want Scouts to be useless and to stay that way. This is why GF and RW have resisted every request to make the Scout class useable again they don't want it fixed. They like it the way it is and want it to stay that way

That's so true. My bad i accept it.

All i want a little care to my class(not very little ::))

i need more pa than any other dps classes to do good as dps.

i need lots of tp to full my skills.( so many daily tickets) we use at least 7-8 skills.

scouts are not useless but didnt deserve this.

they are not bad at pvp though...

This scout thread has been beat to death. I think someone needs to start a new thread to address a new concern. That concern being that scouts are still broken as of last maintenance. This is a much different and more urgent problem than Scouts being broken as of 2 maintenances ago.

GENERAL ADJUSTMENTS

Take shot off of GCD (or have it be enabled like autoshot)
Allow raids to be equipped into bow/xbow

Increase range of all skils by 100%

Increase DPS of all skills by 100%

SKILL: Concentration > Max 50. At max > For 60 seconds, focus regen speed is increased by 100% and physical attack speed is increased by 50%.

SKILL: Frost Arrow > Keep original status, add "When wind arrow is used, ranged physical damage is increased by 10% for 20s. Cannot be used for another 60 seconds.

SKILL: Detection > Keep original status, increase range to 250.

SKILL: Eagles Eyes > Max at 50. At max > Increases physical crit rate by 500 and physical critical damage by 10%.

SKILL: Target Area > Max at 50. At max > Increase accuracy by 5%, increases crit rate by 300. A critical strike will apply an additional 5% dex, stackable up to 5
times.

SKILL: Blood Arrow > Max at 50. At max > Every 2 seconds you lose 10% HP. Physical ranged damage is increased by 35%. Lasts 30 seconds.

SKILL: Speed Shotting > Max at 50. At max > Increases attack speed of bows and xbows by 40%. Also increases their damage by 15%.

SKILL: Swiftness > Max at 50. At max > Permanently increases dexterity by (current dexterity + 300) x 10% + 300.

SKILL: Wrist Attack ( > Damage on target is increased by 10%. Target damage also reduced by 10%. Lasts 10 seconds. CD: 1 minute

Set-SKILL: Archer's Glory > Lowers movement speed by 65%. Increases range of all skills by 200. Increases attack speed by 20%. Increases ranged weapon damage by 10%. Lasts 20 seconds. CD: 6 minutes

bit much, as 360 base is a lot, but a good 20-50% would be nice.

i ll refine the long list to a shorter, capable enough to make scouts more than viable:

- increase detection range to the max range of any skill: that is 260. if i have a long range skill i want to be able to use it when i see a rogue approaching. not to identify him when he s already able to SP the scout.

- increase the range of all skill by an extra 50: this should be a passive skill of scouts-only, not for everyone.

- allow raid runes on bows/xbows: there is absolutely no reason why scouts r doomed to miss practically 11% dmg boost cause of loss of raids.

- put Shot off-gcd: shot is a low dps skill and shouldnt consume gcd. r/m, r/wl, wd/*, */wd, ch/* can do background dmg. scouts should be able too. in the very end its a 220% dps skill, not that game-breaking

- increase the overall dps of scouts by 20-30%: either by modifying the % of the skills or by modifying the dmg formula (which is different for scouts)


dont try make any other change to scouts, like the fail change u did few patches ago, unless u make these serious changes first.
