Yup m/wl doesn't need to do anything, just survive lol. Obviously if it did some dps it would be even better. With my guild on Palenque we couldn't do Bethomia but we got a m/wl with just 55k hp and we started doing the first 4 bosses. Now people started taking it a bit more serious and buffing/buying more food and we have completed it 3 times this week all 7 bosses.

Pretty much done working on the W/M guide for now.. Anyone see anything I missed? It's not a perfect guide but It's got most of the information that is specific to W/M. Most of the other stuff can be found in a Mage guide.

Like pre-boss buffs. Pretty much exactly what a mage buffs except for speed pots and the warrior buffs that are pretty self explanatory.

I think the guide is great.

I don't know if one would consider it "self explanatory" or not, but i might make a note somewhere that warrior / mage uses a raid rune instead of a curse rune if they're trying to maximize attack speed

That is a good point to throw out there. I'll find a spot for that. Thanks :D

and if they are running wand/tali two doesn't help. Since tali doesn't attack. I didn't read all of it, but also base attack speed of weapons is something to look at when upgrading/changing weapons.

Two recons sure help though if you're going wand/talisman. Iirc w/m generates a lot more aggro a lot quicker than m/w, especially if you're overpowered.

I'd really like to mess around on w/m more than I get to. I have yet to see it's full potential, and I'd like to have a change every now and then, but I have to hold back a TON when I run with my guild if I'm on w/m. So I've stayed m/w and even popping all aggro reducing things I can think of I still have to hold back sometimes lol..

I've heard people say that M/W out dps W/M and I've also heard the opposite. As far as I know they are both extremely viable dps right now but it is worth trying both to see which you prefer if you can afford to make the extra weapon/talisman. Dpsing on W/M with a Staff isn't the same as with a Wand/Tali. The dps will suffer and your aggro will be much higher which causes a lot of problems.

I personally haven't dpsed on M/W because I don't have the tp to spec it right without giving up my M/Wd skills. And I'm not willing to do that so it's not gonna happen for right now because good luck getting me to spend time tp farming.

with my m/w I have Wisdom, Intensification (for crit dmg increase), Rage mana (for overall dmg increase), and energy influx (for crit and duration) all maxxed. I also put about 75 pts into the m/w crit buff also. Then Beserk at 50 (max), for mad beserk. Those are the main major things for max dps, maybe elemental weakness which I have 65 pts into. I also made a staff for m/w....

Now however I don't use the staff on my w/m I use the wand/tali for faster attack speed, staff is still pretty good but a stat stick (with 9% fire power increase), sure doesn't hurt. Also an extra miracle/Recon/Burst, certainly doesn't hurt, and neither does the stat-stick. I was tempted to T10 the tali instead of stat... but I don't really think that would have given enough increase to justify. Would only be a 1.8% increase, so nah.

Double recon allows for lower levels to hit the 90% max also. Not to mention after burns... if there is such a thing anymore, wand with pet/raid will be quicker attacks.

I also just added Tyrants instead of my Blocks, more HP, more stam, more str for m/w, and a little more hp... till they give us int/stam runes lol.
