what is a good second class for a mage?

what is a good second class for a mage? i have an elf mage ,but was wondering what it's second class should be?

For non-endgame siege, where there generally aren't pocket healers, M/D is also decent for siege because you can heal yourself. Its also a much easier class to quest on due to healing. Although with pocket heler M/Wd definitely wins.

m/p and m/d's are good in mage/magic/warmage parties due to their elites/ buffs. M/wd is good for pvp due to the int/stam and defense increase. m/k is good for pvp as well. Both m/wd and m/k have more isntant asts than any other mage class. m/wd now has the most and the most range. For PVE m/w is really good due to beserk.

M/w many nice skills to increase matt/mdmg/crit dmg so for pve its the obvious choice. For pvp there is alot of choices. M/wd m/s m/k m/p are the main classes I see and each has its own advantages. But personally I think m/wd is the best

M/P and M/K is for humans only, so if you want to take those choices, you'll have to restart on a human mage.
