(M/W) Choosing The Right Transformation Potion

Donichuka (20% INT) or Giant Guardian (20% STR and STAM)

What do you M/W's think?

For run of the mill buffing I would say Donichuka for obvious reasons.

BUT

If you're going for full out burn potential, has anyone tried Giant Guardian instead?

Discuss.

easy answer, your 70 elite gives you 50% of stam and str. it means if you have the same stam and str you get 20% increase on the value you get from your 70 elite. on the other hand you get 20% if you use donichuka. if you had same str/stam as int it would be even, but you should be having higher int value, mainly because you have wisdom vs half of the warrior strenght thing, your pet and also normally you should have higher end stats on your main gear. so during burns you are slightly better with donichuka and outside of it you are just way better with it.

well..ideally, in a burn phase u wouldnt really be moving so moving speed would be irrelevant lol

Actually I mean both because there are situations where as a mage warrior you have to move before burning a perfect example is Pillars of Morfan hard 3rd boss where if you have speed reduction you will die so in all actuality the speed Reduction will pose a threat to mage dps because not everything can be burned in 5 seconds standing still D: as well as fact If the boss is moved out of your ranged your screwed XD,from my own experiences )

Wouldn't donichuka pot also increase the int you get from Brute Str by 20%? So if you use Giant Guardian you get 20% more int from Brute Strength, but if you use donichuka you get 20% more int from both the int you already have + int gained from Brute Strength?

Exactly Ruisen, which is why Doni pot is obviously better... idk what more there is to discuss on this matter >.<

Giant guardian < Doni < Both used in a count down.

(without any transformation)
X: STR (of swap gear)
Y: STA (of swap gear)
Z: INT (of main gear)

with Doni, your buffed INT with Doni pot and 70 elite is:
INT_buffed_Doni = ( Z + 0.5 * ( X + Y ) ) * 1.2

with Giant Guardian, your buffed INT with guardian pot and 70 elite is:
INT_buffed_Guard = Z + 0.5 * 1.2 * ( X + Y )

INT_buffed_Doni = 1.2 * INT_buffed_Guard
