You sound like you're saying that if W/M ever tops scrut in burn it will be a great surprise. Nirvasa pulls top DPS in our raids often enough as W/M that it's not a shock. Instead of saying "this class can't be top DPS" look at yourself and who you're comparing yourself to.

1. From your previous posts I assume you don't have Ironblood Will.
2. You most likely don't have a Hall of Earth set.
3. Your overall gear might not be as good as VVV's players. (Which is my assumption on who you're comparing yourself to and they most likely have IBW and HoE set).
4. Don't take this as an offense, but you might not be as good at your class as you believe. Maybe you're missing something.

If all my assumptions are right, you want W/M to be strong enough to keep up/be better than other classes WITHOUT strong assets like 20% dmg increase from Ironblood Will and a 8% dmg increase from Hall of Earth Set.

If I'm mistaken on 1-3 than sorry buddy but it's number 4. Lol.

All I'm saying is, from what I was able to decipher, you sound like this:"I'm doing the best possible at W/M, yet I'm always beat". Which is, most likely, not true.

/facepalm w/m is fine as it is. Would say m/w and w/m are preety equal in terms of burn dps. But factor in that w/m needs a wand and a talisman rather then just a staff and i would say both of those are far more expensive to make then swap gear(which doesnt need to be amazing, most of mine is yellow stats +5 even...)

As to the OP. tbh mate, they are both very good dps, you might as well play both, it doesn't take a lot of work to switch between the two. I would give a detailed post but ehh...I've kinda lost touch with my w/m side over the years, I only play it now for wodjin and spider if its not gone be a burn. Probably setting bit of a bad example here, but just don't see the point of playing w/m when I can just click one button on m/w and get hundreds of thousands of matk.

Don't get me wrong, w/m can reach 1m+ matk (with no sigil) without too much difficulty, you don't even need all orange stated t8 gear with X runes. Only down side though is that you will need a very skilled (not the usual 1 button spam debuffer) wl/m and a p/r in raid to do it, so you will probably be able to do it only in mage based raids.

Word my gear is trash I use bag stats and I have tier 8 wep and all + 5 gear I am noob .
Anyway y'all said burn gear should be fixed than boost intensification so mages besides m/wrd can be viable and boost my light burn so I won't be noob anymore I can't afford vvv gear I'm broke and no dias or anything . No skill at all but I think I'm the best yay me.
Also like I've said before w/m needs a ma party to be good dps without it is lacking. Unless you are a ma guild that isn't ideal.

I doubt it. Not if they're equally geared. Certainly not in endgame.
