What secondary class works well with scout?

It's been a few years since I've played Runes of Magic, and I lost my account information. So, I need to make a new character.

I used to play a scout/priest, which I found fun, so I figured that I'd stick with scout, but try something other than priest as a second class this time around.

So, that being said, what secondary classes work well with scout nowdays?

Warden offers the best alternative. It adds a lot of skills that add to dps and defense. With Warden as a secondary the Scout packs more punch and has more survivability, The only problem is that there are so many useful skills that you never will have enough TP.
Until there is a balance of the Scout skills the Scout primary will always be terrible and unable to be a end game class but with Warden as a secondary it will be not quite as bad.

Well, I don't mind going scout secondary if primary scout doesn't work nowadays. The main reason that I want to play it isn't strictly because of its effectiveness, but mainly because of the fact that being able to weave shot in between my other abilities gave the illusion of actually doing more things, and felt more active, and thus more fun, I just used the primary/secondary thing interchangeably because I'll have to play both of them as primary while leveling anyway.

So, in that case, what would be a good primary class to have scout support?

Warden/Scout is great and very useful in endgame PVE/PVP. Rogue/Scout is still viable but not much played nowadays because rogue/mage is far better... And if you like to spam shot, then go Mage/Scout, but this combo is a magical dps.

scout primarys to use are s/wd, s/w, s/r because each of these classes carry an elite that gives +10-17% pdmg on the target (So your whole party gets more dmg done)

As for scout secondary there aren't really any burst dps nowadays that carry scout as a secondary other then maybe r/s. M/s and Wd/s are both sustained dps with wd/s also giving a nice dmg buff to your party.

p/s and d/s are both very effective group healers if you are interested in healing. And for PvP K/s is crazy OP when in an organized group.

That's the only combo's I can think of having any real use. S/p which you originally were would be nice for the party only if;
1. its a long fight.
2. You have a high DPS warden (or other) tanking

my gf liked being s/p for siege, the 5 sec immune was pretty fun. Now she plays rogue though...

Thanks for the advice. I decided to go with Scout/Warden, as it seemed to be one of the less bad options for scout, while also being a recommended warden secondary.
