I tried druid once... It's stuck at lvl 57.... xD lmao

Even if you don't want to play druid, you can swap to something other then P/K to become more useful :p P/K offers nothing special.

I'm not sure what's wrong with P/K. Our P/K's heal GoHH just fine... lol. As long as they keep the party alive, I don't see much of a difference.
Druids are kinda OP though. A couple weeks ago our D/W with mostly unplussed/unstatted gear solo healed the first few bosses in GoHH lol

Priests can't soloheal and so you must waste another dps/alt buffer space for an extra priest to still not do as well as one druid.

Also, on P/K, P/S is so ridiculously better for everyone. Better buffs and far better heals.

@Ruisen I say chose a different priest over p/k not because its not a good healer, but because that's all it offers. Where as a class like borella said, P/S offer both great heals and a group buff.

Edit: I'd like to point out that my favourite healer has always been P/Wl so not trashing it, just would be impressive to see a CoE 5th p/wl solo heal vid. Idk Maybe I'm over estimating the group damage from that boss.

Somehow this thread ended up on priests and their healing abilities, i'll put video me healing HoE last boss with mage gear. You really don't need almost any healer gear as endgame dpsers stack 0 stamina.

And Mytho, I know Priest can solo heal almost as well as druids, P/S espically if not more so, but I picked 5th CoE as a example for a p/wl healer as it's a far better 'burst healer' due to its 30 second pet. So would just be cool to see if one could possible keep up with the aoe damage dot from 5th, if its not a party full of casters ^.^

And this thread ended up on priests as a plea to OP... Get use to your P/S! ;D

To be fair, the biggest thing making druids able to solo heal a raid is that its aoe heals affect the entire raid. If that was limited to a single group, then priests and druids would be on a more even playing field. However, if they do that to druids, people will start complaining about being nerfed. So why not just make Group Heal hit the entire raid? If they did that, it would achieve the same effect as if they limited the druid's aoe heals With the exception of people yelling that they got nerfed.

... and b/c thats what differs priest from druids, leave them be, althoguh they did nerf a priests group heal spam ;) which i was happy about. maybe they could tone downa druids ;) a tad ;p

The problem with making GH hit an entire raid is it would then make Priests far too overpowered. Right now Druids are clearly better than Priests, but it's not as simple as making GH hit the whole raid.

Can you imagine a GH that hits an entire raid + chain of light + curing shot + urgent heal? It would be entirely too much healing power on one character.

Although in general healing in RoM is way too overpowered as it is... one healer should not be able to heal an entire raid in an endgame instance without even trying.

For all of you who think Druids are over-powered, I will remember the next time I heal your raid that you think so. Hope you brought lots of healing pots....

Oh, and yeah, I run as a druid/scout for instance runs with guild mates and they never complain when I pull their ass out the fire..

It's pretty obvious that they're overpowered. Compare healing in RoM to healing in other games and RoM is a cakewalk. It's incredibly easy.

I have healer gear from 10-15 levels ago statted with nothing higher than level 80 stats and it's still perfectly capable of healing endgame. Name one other class in the game that can run brand new endgame content in gear from 2-3 years ago.

Healing is too easy. With that being said, you can tell the difference between a good healer, and a bad healer.

This may be because no one but tank and healers need to have HP.

Also, why is p/s comparable to as druid? Druid 36 player heal > 6 person GH? I'm ignorant.

It's because p/s gets an aoe heal that's not bound to a group at all.
