I'm pretty sure that none of those i-wanna-play-w/s-to-be-the-top-dps will dare the challenge to run a goblins run as w/s, since they ll probably have their pc screen broken of anger before even reach the final room due to the "wonderful" rage mechanics.

But hey, rage is fine. "I" play with macro and I'm top at scruti in 8secs fights, so rage is ok. bump.

I hardly ever do goblin mine, or farm on w/s, so someone who does it every day would know how to more efficiently use focus and rage pool over long durations...I farm on warden primaries for the immunes and hp restores. 6min to spawn all chests and transport circle without getting "annoyed" at any point due to lack of rage. You can use rage only skills, relying on pulling large groups, or just use focus skills and shot, to complete gm easily.

This "might" be more difficult for a relatively weak w/s, but in that case, "wanting to be top dps" isn't a realistic thing with no gear. Also, you don't exactly need amazing equipment to be one shotting the mobs. If your hp is so low that huge groups of mobs are a problem, use focus skills there to avoid getting the bleeds or to take down mobs one at a time. You can see that even my sword breath, shot (when i put my actual crossbow on), and aim for the wound were doing much more dmg than the mob hp, so weaker equipment would still be sufficient.

Also, pls don't discuss the overall rage system here....There was already a thread for that...This is a thread about the "improved" w/s.

I'm curious when's the last time you played W/x in siege? Also, is your main wd/x or w/x?

I played w/k in siege a week or so ago (In corruption). I have played w/wd also in siege, which I loved due to the stun lock and potential damage output, but it lacked the same survivability that w/k has (no shield of discipline mostly). In fact I have a number of w/wd siege videos on my youtube channel, albeit they are quite old. I haven't uploaded any great sieges in quite some time, and none of which were on w/k that I recall. It's hard to define what my main is, as I play a lot of both. Throughout chapter 3 and early chapter 4 I was strictly w/wd (at one point was even tanking WA and rt as w/wd in ch3). Transitioned to wd/s or wd/w tank when wardens got messed around with, then wd/w dps a few months after 70 elites came out. Have tried champion, and have a k/w alt I used to tank on when needed.

Currently I play w/k (siege only), w/s (replaced w/wd after using tp reset), wd/w, wd/s. I'm currently spending more time in instances as w/s as of late, just to try out something new. I'd try scouts if I had leather gear, but alas, I do not. Currently considering moving my gear to a c/p to tank instances with.

I played w/k for a very long time, when 3rd class came out I tried w/s, and loved it. If you were experienced playing warrior/x, and went to w/s, it was an amazing change. It seemed like I never ran out of rage.
