Healer, stats or high tier?

Nowadays stats are useless for healers (except for pvp), wisdom don't increase your heals and since all endgame damage is porcentual you don't need to have a lot of LP.

Knowing that, i think that im going to make my new healer equipment up to t9 with dirty stats.

With all pieces tiered to t9 i will have more crit and healing power than any normal stated healer... and i think that is cheaper....

What do you think about this idea?

Would work in most senarios, however there are places here and there to be careful about pdef based AoEs in instances. (very few)

Well as you already said, except for pvp. What if you wanted to siege some day, then you will have to make a whole new set of gear.

Remember that tier also increases def and magical def, so you will have more than any dps

Personally I love the idea. Very creative, out-of-the box thinking. My only recommendation would be to mix it up just a little, have a couple pieces with wis/sta/def/etc. just to give yourself a little buffer. Absolutely no need for a super high health pool as a healer and getting on par with the rest of your group would be pretty easy to do with just a few pieces since so few stack any amount of sta anymore. If you decide to go forward, please come back to the forums with an update on your results :).

i knew some1 who has done this. it worked for the purpose you describe.

the pdef gains will be minimal on cloth (compared to stam/def statting, and you might even lose pdef), and you will lose quite a bit of mresist and mdef due to lack of wisdom.

i'd just be wary of hp checks and/or non-% aoes. while they are few and far between (for the moment), you never know what the next content might be.

in short, traditional healer statting is safer, especially when you take into account that you ARE the healer.
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

mages should stack dex. word.
