Warden/Scout Rotation?

I am having trouble getting consistent DPS on my Warden/Scout. What is the best rotation for a Boss fight (assuming all buffs have been used)? It seems to me that just spamming CC until I am oom and using a mana pot is the best I can do while Chiron does all my damage.

If you are just spamming CC and not weaving it with your other skills, then you are missing out on half your dps. CC does not activate GCD so you should be getting 2 attacks off every second.

EX. CC + Untamable / CC + Animal Spirit Eclipse / CC + Cross Chop / CC + Vampire Arrow / CC + Shot / CC + Untamable / CC + Animal Spirit Eclipse / CC + Shot... etc.

Basically, keep weaving in your strongest skills together with CC.
Frantic Briar also does not activate GCD, so weave that in whenever its off cooldown.

How does CC weaving work with DIYCE?

Or should I only use that for buffs and cooldowns and use macros for CC weaving? Something like:

/cast Charged Chop
/wait .1
/cast Cross Chop
I don't support 1 Server. I just like the Anagram - GOAT GRIP!

I've never used DIYCE so I'll let someone else answer that.

You can use macros or hit them manually, whichever works better for you.

Depending on your lag, u may not need to put a /wait in there at all.

/cast Charged Chop
/cast Untamable
/cast Animal Eclipse Spirit
/cast Cross Chop
/cast Vampire Arrow
/cast Shot

Hit this every second. Should cast CC + whatever is highest priority that isn't on cooldown. If this doesn't work, then try adding a /wait between CC and the rest. Experiment for yourself how long /wait should be for you.

You cannot do a proper charged chop weave inside of diyce, however you can put the other attacks in diyce and in the /run kill... macro just add a /cast Charged Chop before it. Blank has the line you can use somewhere in the diyce thread.

Yeah I'm just gonna add to what was said above, you can't technically run a charged chop weave in diyce as far as I know so essentially your in game macro for diyce should look like this for any CC user (Wd/X or W/Wd)

/cast Charged Chop
/run KillSequence < This being whatever your kill sequence is.

This will effectively allow you to weave charged chop in between skills in your diyce.

Just to clarify, you can do a charged chop weave with charged chop placed as top priority in diyce, but it is absolutely not optimal as the overall skillcount (charged chops as well as filler skills) will always be lower than if the charged chop is put in the macro instead.
