lvl 97 gear

JESUS CRIST, 10 freaking myths for a lvl 97 pull. Why aren't price of myth gears adjusted like shells, dreamland and honor gears are with each cap? So gears from previous cap becomes cheaper and the gears from the new cap cost what the gears in the previous cap did? GF/RW wont increase the number of world bosses, instead they decrease the number of channel they can done on, wont have regular myth events but oh no, that doesn't stop them from increasing the price of the myth gears. How do you expect people to gear and clear stuff????

How do you expect people to gear and clear stuff????
I think by clear stuff, u mean burn stuff. It would be much better if bosses required strats to do them. ofc by strats, I mean strats like the food boss in GCH or color boss in HoS or last boss HoS and to a lesser extent tosh first boss (there are times were u do everything right but boss pulls certain aoe's one after the other that just kills someone) and NOT like first boss HoE...seriously, who's idea was it to spawn immune bugs that 1 shot people without any warning whatsoever so that melee ppl cant run away from the boss (where the bugs spawn) and try to counter the bugs somehow.

You don't need any POM gear to clear anything. Hopefully they just do away with POMs altogether or convert them to arena badges.

Aside from the things I've already said, this is the other stupid thing about this. If there are x number of myths in the server and I spend a lot of money and buy stupid amount of dias then sell said dias and pay stupid amount of gold to buy y amount of myths, it's not going to magically increase the number of myths in the server. There will just be x-y number of myths in the server. Me throwing more money at them does nothing to help the issue.

Those bosses still needs to be dpsed after the strat is done. And idk if you have noticed how much RW has been buffing the latest bosses, even if there was a strat and even if the group completed said strat, with out a burn raid you won't be able to kill the boss.

The point of doing strat is that u don't have to burn, as long as ur tank can tank properly and ur healer can heal properly, ur dps can dps at whaterver rate they can as long as they do the strat to keep the boss from raging and start 1 shoting. BTW using crafted/pshell gear and stats u can still get a decent burn out of your class.

this always happens... the items come out early and then the myth/shell items get removed and brought back with the 97 content XD

Well we got only 2 servers now, why not put 3 channels on all world bosses and make it a one day/per toon. Level cap goes up so does the cost of currency to buy them. To those who wants POM removed, why? cause you ain't able, geared or know the strategy to do the world bosses?

TOSH Jenny and all other bosses have great strat, but some people are just too lazy to learn it and do it, preferable to burn. HOE bug boss is a stupid strat boss, burn or die, pretty retarded whoever came out with that way of things.

Bil, you know how much i love strategy required bosses, but then all those glass cannon unbuffed mages with 50K HP and same with the 55K rogues wouldn't stand a chance and would have to learn to stat for strat :lol:
But then again ask Gameforge to fix stuff that is NOT BROKEN and waste their time away from things that really does need their attention.

I think we would disagree on the definition of "not broken" Zid. The burn strategy approach has been killing this game for awhile now. In order to burn effectively, players have to be geared to the teeth and be fortunate enough to play one of the “favorable” class combinations or they are either relegated to being a buffer standing outside the instance or simple SOL.

No matter that you, I and others post that we like or even prefer strategy based encounters, the truth is the community as a whole has been enabling this approach (by varying degrees) by continuing to dump more and more time/money into the game to burn bosses. That leaves us where we are now where the servers have been merged to address the diminished server population but little has been communicated so far on what their plans are (if any) to address the underlying issues that made merging necessary in the first place.

Which brings me to my final point and the OP: we can complain about the price of things all we like but as long as people are dumping money and/or time into the game as it is now then we really shouldn’t be surprised if things just continue like they are.
