Druid scout build for my wife:)

She is lvl 20 druid and lvl 16 scout. Since the latest patch, all TP has been reset so all skills are at 0. I find this to be quite advantagous, since now she can lvl only what will help her towards high lvls. Most of her gmaeplay consists of PVE solo and maybe some parties, but not alot. If anything, she would just party with me and not big raids.

with that said, what skills should she lvl actually lvl up so she doesnt waste TP?

thanks

Once you get higher level, you'll notice at level 50 there is a huge tp and exp jump. Meaning from levels 1-50 your tp distribution almost don't matter at all, you can distribute it how you like and easy fill up other skills to 50 later on, with minimal waste in the end even if you get a worthless skill to +50.

Personally don't play druid so I'm not going to give advice about it however because you are still so new into the game, just test out what works, best way to learn is to make the mistake now while it won't impact you in the long run. :)

There are a number of guides that are annoyingly hard to find now:

Ravesden's Guide to Competent Druid Healing

That guide is a pretty good overview of Druids. Druid/Scout is a pure healing class and is perhaps the easiest to master once you get to level 60 (AE Camelia Flower). That said, if you are going to solo, you will have to put TP into Earth Arrow and Briar Entwinement in order to kill the mobs during quests. If she duos with you and you are a DPS or a Tank, then she won't need to worry about that.

Another option would be for her to choose a third class that favors DPS like Mage or Rogue. D/M is not a particularly good healer and D/R CAN be a good healer but is harder to master than the traditional healing combos of D/S, D/WD. OTOH, D/R can be quite capable doing damage after level 60 due to the Wasteland elite.
I don't support 1 Server. I just like the Anagram - GOAT GRIP!

As a druid in general, you want to max out all the skills that maxes at 50, as r2p said once you get higher level those are so cheap they almost feel free. you also want to max out Withering Seed and Weakening Seed. Believe for the rest revesden guide is up to date, the main thing that changed since he wrote it is the importance of debuffs on bosses. The way magic and healing work, is it takes the damage written on your spell and adds it to your healing/damage multiplied by the cast time. In short, the skill level of spells/heals does not impact the outgoing number much. Therefore just having seeds maxed and all heals to 50 and putting the extra tp on wathever heals you feel like you are using the most is usually the way to go.

Don't worry about the skills at this lvl, when you reach lvl 50, you will get a skill reset stone that you can use to reset the tp allocation. I recommend to save it for later as mob difficulty start ramping up around lvl 55. So check what you can do against better mobs first before you switch tp allocations.

As a solo class, d/s is probably not a good idea as pretty much all the elites are focused on healing. and no matter how you stat and what combo you take, druid class can't solo any instances which are around it's lvl as they do not have any burst dmg skills (you might get something out of ancient spirit water and sa/ft) and as most bosses have an annoying ability to start enraging after some time (10ish mins), you can't stat as a tank and slowing chip away their hp either.

In the end, she will probably either have to switch to full healing, or stat as mages and do sw for enjoyment, or be reduced to farming mobs around the zones for various things.

My recommendation, if she really want to be mostly a solo player, either switch to more dps dealing class and have a druid or priest as secondary or be prepared to make an alt toon (or party up with you if you are a dps class) that can provide the dps needed to clear most easy mode instances. and even if she isn't going into the instances, farming mobs will be much easier with a dps class.

awesome. that is alot of info. however, it seems that if she just maxes everything out to 50, she will be fine. from there she can decide what she likes to use. haha.

We will duo most likely so i will make sure to lvl up the ones that can help me out. Ill either be using my rouge mage or rouge scout.

@bilalab: thats about where i was heading with all of this info. Mostly farm around, have fun, then take her to a instance with my dps class.

thanks

if you are a physical dps class, and intend to mostly duo, i'd advise d/w for AotW buff.

that being said, d/s is fine, and will heal really anything you need, but it's greatest appeal is the ability to blanket heal raids. if you aren't planning on healing raids, d/w, d/wdn or d/r are also fine alternatives. d/w for physical buff, d/wdn is just tanky and has some nice defensive buffs, with option to go wdn/d, which is a magical tank with stupid amounts of healing, and d/r is your magical dps druid, that would most likely be able to help clearing trash/dps when not healing.
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

mages should stack dex. word.
