A Diamond in the rough...

Ello', I'm new to this... forum thing. So if this winds up in the crafting threads for whatever reason, I'm a blind elf, cut me a break. But i wanted to hopefully inspire some people to try a fun class out for once...
Now I know what you're thinking...
"Ugh, someone praising champions, how original"
or
"Ugh, some hipster elf trying to convince people to leave their comfort classes" (That isn't Cike?! -gasp-)
and to that I say... why you so mean?...
Anyway onward to the class.

First off, it's a champion... Dps/tank already checked off on the list of usefulness. yes champions may have their weaknesses (Low attack in shield form, Low Mdef, and... Rage...)
but this class' skills should get around them...except mdef....I can hear you ch/mages snickering now....

First lets look at having warlock...
Warp Charge - nice attack speed buff, which helps champions a lot.
Sace's Scorn - Pratically a 9 second stun (4 on players) that doesnt break on damage and is instant cast with chain drive.
and thats all for warlock primary

Now to the Elites...

Endless Pulse - Now, I know what you're thinking... "40% of my hp all for 7% attack speed and only restores 20% back over 8 seconds? Pfft useless!" First off, its okay for boss fights, secondly... it will tie in with another skill (Indomitable Spirit) 20 sec CD

Rune Siphon - Not a Bad skill, does average damage (and dark damage, yay?) with only 10 rage cost and heals for a small amount 12 sec CD

Psychic Forge - Gives focus with attacks and increases the stack size of forge to 7, but at 1% each stack. yes, it's not all that great, but it's not terrible.

Dark Energy Strike - Bread and butter of your dps. forget that heavy bash that everyone... isn't using anyway... oh...

Indomitable Spirit - Awh yea, this is where this class gets it's Lone Wolf Class Title. When your hp is below 65%, pop this skill and not only will it make your next 3 dark energy strikes to double damage (Hit twice) but it will heal a % of your hp each time you use DES, even if it misses. at level 50, it heals for 10% of your hp per DES, at level 85 (I think) its 15% per DES. that's 45% at 85! It gets better... All this with a 7 SECOND CD! Combine this with Endless Pulse (knocking your hp down to 60% and giving back 20% over time) and Warp charge and its gunna get messy... :rocketlauncher:
sure, go out and heal half your hp (as a tanky 500k champion) every 7 seconds. because why not!? It costs 20 rage though :(

Heart Collection Rune - Resets the cooldown of your Rune Siphon and increases it's damage by 20%. Not too shabby. 20 sec CD. Perm Buff.

Soul Forge Mystery - Increases crit by a small amount and when your normal attacks crit, increases dark attribute magic power. okay, extra crit and small damage on DES and RS. Could be Worse.

Dark Energy Punishment - Your attack is SO LOW while in shield form you say? well heres a free 30% Phys attack and magic attack. Perm Buff. On the house. But it costs 3% of your hp per second. Which isn't that bad considering 1. you can heal for around half when attacking something and 2. it will eventually knock you down to 65% or lower without the use of endless pulse, or your enemy.

Blast of Remorse - Aoe Knockdown (Because it's different from stuns, I promise) for 5 seconds, while taking half your hp... hehe... only half? first off, its another skill that will put you in indomitable spirit range, and you can heal half right back assuming you have the rage for it. Sure you'll be unable to move for 12 seconds but your enemies can't move for 5... pick your poison... :minigun: :missilelauncher:

Psychic Rampage - increases phys crit by 2500 while decreasing healing received by 50%. A little back story... I'm no endgamer, but I've heard that Crit resist in Endgame dungeons are a pain, well with this, it should be less of a pain. Perm buff yet again too. Now.. I don't know if it would decrease all that % self healing. It may or may not, maybe one of you warlock/champions can check for me

And That's all for the Insight/Guide to champion/warlock. I've been able to solo some unsoloable stuff with this class.

It does have it's Con though. I would list the Pros, but if you read anything from above, its got quite a few Pros

Cons (That I can think of)
1. Its very rage thirsty, might wanna use a 1h hammer/talisman for the rage, all the extra attack speed buffs (which use focus) should help with that.
2. It's low on mdef, just like all champions (except ch/m). So might wanna be careful around magic dps in sw. 1h hammer/talisman could help with that too.
3. You may hate healers (Allies) more than ever. And they will hate you back. Face the hate!

I would imagine it's nice for Endgame boss burns, with 30% extra attack, 2500 crit, and double damage on DES with 2 attack speed buffs.
And it should (don't quote me on that) Be excellent for Pvp, given all the defense, self healing, attack, attack speed, and 2 stuns (other than stun strike)

Anyway, hope this brings some variety to the table.

Someone actually made a post about ch/wl? Congrats! You beat me to it! I was planning on doing that after I finished gearing and had a chance to try it in endgame instances, but then RL happened.

Anyways...

Ch/wl is a very fun class. It IS very rage thirsty, however, with your elites, ISS, and potions, you should be fine for most endgame fights (not sure about the newer instances). Now, on to your mentions of skills.

Psychic Forge is bugged. I'm not exactly sure if the 1% is wrong, or if the text of what Psychic Forge does is wrong. Here is a link regarding that.

Indomitable Spirit is amazing. At level 90, it is a solid 50.1% heal (I believe that's the correct amount, not logging in to confirm).

Psychic Rampage is another amazing skill. It increases your criteria by a flat 2500 for both magical and physical critical rate. This means that you will have a better chance at critting than other classes that don't have a massive critical buff. Also, it reduces your received heals by 50%, helping mitigate those pesky heals you get in the raid. It does not reduce your % healing, too, so that makes it even better!

Now, for your comment about Shield Form.... It'd be best to leave it unleveled if you're planning on being a dps. Then, it will hardly reduce your attack, and you benefit off of the increased chance of Chain Drive proc'ing.

I also recommend leveling Fearless Blow and using it in fights, as well. I'm forgetting which level it starts, but as it increases in level, the amount of rage it regenerates, eventually becoming higher than the cost to use it.

Anyways, that's all I got for you at the moment.

No, I don't know everything. I just use my knowledge to form educated guesses
And I listen when others say I am wrong in order to learn.

Thanks for providing the extra lvl cap tips (because I play on lv 50 twinks), and confirming that psychic rampage doesn't reduce % healing received.
