Scout warrior rotation

Hi all,

First off, sorry for my bad grammar, English is not my first language.

I've been through the forums and have found some interesting discussions regarding scout, and with the recent changes to them I feel like playing scout again (after many years of playing rogue).

My char is human though so playing s/wd is out of the option, making another char and farming ibw again is a pain. That leaves me with s/r and s/w for endgame.

While Mamn00n had posted a nice rotation for s/r in one of the scout dmg discussion threads, in my guild the other DD's are mostly r/m and wd/w, with a couple of m/w thrown in so there won't be enough Vamps to make DPB hit like a truck. Therefore I've been leaning towards s/w (soon should have the HD xbow from the 95 HM ini). I couldn't find a rotation for s/w on the forums (If I'm not mistaken), and was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to post it here.

From the elites I saw, I was wondering if simple Shot / Wind Arrow spam with Snipe on AD followed up by combo shot then back to Shot / Wind Arrow would be a decent rotation (prolly not, but haven't exactly started testing yet, for lack of xbow).
Would the rotation you recommend be the same if the there is no k/w in party?

Also, my scout is a bit TP starved (only 300m) so suggestions on what to max first apart from BA and snipe would be greatly appreciated.

From my understanding, wind arrow spam with snipe/combo shot on AD is the best rotation. Wind arrow is one of the best scout skills, and s/w has the ability to spam it with the additional focus regen.

shot buff isn't worth it.

always make sure to pop target lock though, as well as VA, as it has higher damage than WA as well.

i forgot how large the damage boost to reflected shot when under 30% health, but if decent, it's worth using as well.

in terms of tp, focus on snipe, buffs(target area, BA), and WA/combo shot and thats really all you need.

trash: shatterstar storm, piercing arrow, reflected shot, WA spam.

post-burn: WA spam and combo shot. at this point whether you want to use snipe or not is up to you.

Hi nub scout here following up on the suggested rotation, wondering, does Wind Arrow not trigger the 1 second global cooldown? (never actually get to the point of having to use it in any of my roations...)

iirc, it does trigger GCD, however, for some reason it is possible to spam it (for the first couple shots at least) faster than other skills on GCD.

I see... cause there are a few that hit harder for s/w (scout general secondary skills) that I would have used in my rotation prior to WA spam :o will have to try that some day.

tbh, it's more useful for questing/pvp than anything else unless you are s/w and have near-infinite focus.

lvling up shot is good, if only cuz that inc the auto-shot dmg and AS doesn't trigger GCD.. and you don't have to press it more than once in fight like charged chop...

from my understanding, autopshot is a completely different skill whose damage can't be upgraded, so leveling shot has no effect on auto shot damage.

however, I'd really enjoy if somebody would prove me wrong.

autoshot damage is based on your crossbow/bow weapon level.
