Champion alternate statting

I am starting to stat up a champion (c/p/w) mainly for tanking to try something different.

I know that the best statting option for champs is 6x str pa or 5x str pa and 1 str stam.

Well, that's a little too expensive for me at the moment. I'm thinking of staying 3 str pa, 2 stam pa and 1 str stam. With shield form only leveled to like 50% or so.

What are your thoughts on this? Think it Will work? Am I wasting resources statting this way?

Any feedback will be usefull. :thumbsup:

i stat 6 str sta on every piece i have lol
there is not one str pa or sta pa on misguided whatsoever, he still has 110k pa ub, i never dps with this toon, but in siege he usually has between 1 - 1.5 million pdef sustained and 700-800k hp, and still has over 100k pa in shield form. Can buff to just about 100k stamina.

I dont ever plan on dpsing with this toon, just fun to use in siege, and also tanking. I dont use pvp gear either, one set of gear for everything, but i will say as ch/r i have buffed over 550k pa just for sh--ts and giggles.

im not sure why more new players dont stat this way or play champs.. the stats are easy and cheap to attain.. can use any gear really haha, and you can get into endgame runs as ch/p buffer/tank relatively easy.

probably not on topic for a dpsing champ, but food for thought for anyone in future.

What stats work entirely depends on how well you can hold aggro with 0 patk. If it is possible to do so, you can get away with a million different ways to stat a champ (6 stam/str, mix of stam/str stam/hp, stam/mdef stam/pa str/pa str/def etc...)...

If it is just something you're trying for fun, I'd suggest starting with cheaper stats. Ignore str/pa's and just use stam/str oranges / yellows, and stam/pa, since those are inexpensive. If you decide to play more seriously, you can consider str/pa stats.

I think the main reason why people prefer str/pa is because it gives the option of dps'ing as a champ. If you are stam/str only, it is much more difficult to actually do any burst damage.

It depends on what class combo you want to play. If you play ch/r then you want strength for the champ and dex for the rogue so 6x str/dex is optimal. For champ priest you would obviously want str/wis x6, and so on. Only ch/w uses str/sta because str/sta is by far the best stat for warriors. Which is why even mage/warrior uses str/sta, it's just too good of a stat for warriors not to use. I'm not sure what game these people are playing, you'll obviously get enough patk from having a large powerful hammer, don't waste stats getting more. I also recommend using Moving Trap from SC as it's by far the biggest hammer and hits much harder than the tiny toys they call hammers at level cap. Good like with your champ!

@heim. Bad troll is bad.

I was planning on using mostly bagstats, cause they are cheap and decent for a first set of gear. If only 97 bag stats were available. >.> would make it so much easier
