don't get all this hate against m/w and w/m, it does just fine, because it's all about how you build your party, stick a m/w in a w/s group and ofc it compares crap, back at 90-95 cap, my guild focused largely on magic dps, full of w/m and/or k/m, and we had a few melee who would always cry that their dps sucked compared to the magic, and it wasnt that they sucked, it was just that they werent in the right built party ,now its flipped, and we run more melee orientated then magic, and its ofc different, its down to how you build your party, and there is no real use to crying how other combos are better if you build your party for the opposite way, full magic and full melee parties both work fine.
And as nirvasa said, m/wl and wl/m is easy way to get into endgame runs, just get a plussed neck, full crafted gear and a curse rune and you're set for m/wl, wl/m? just get all elites, max warp charge and you're good to go.
