Knight - What am I doing?

I've played this game sporadically over the years, and have recently decided to give it a chance again. I rolled a knight, basically because I used to play a paladin tank in WoW. I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to roll a priest as my secondary class, due to the fact that I used to enjoy soloing group quests and lower level instances in WoW. The time it takes to kill something means very little to me. I once soloed Onyxia on my level 80 prot pally before they changed the encounter from a level 60 40 man raid. It took me 45 minutes, but was extremely gratifying. That being said, I have yet to find a comprehensive up to date guide as to what I should be investing my tp in. All I see are suggestions for class combinations, and skill guides that are 4 years old or better. I enjoy AOE tanking/farming, so I'm guessing whirlwind shield is a must. Other than that, I'm pretty much completely lost. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, if you're planning to do stuff like soloing, you'll probably want to invest TP into:

Whirlwind shield
Truth shield bash
Holy strike
Devotion
Holy smite(k/P elite)
Holy protection (k/P elite)

Can't remember what else, didn't really play in a few months

Here's a list of skills to keep up to a certain amount, you can pick and choose but to try to sum up what they are good for but it should be obvious.

Holy strike - this adds extra holy seals onto your target, it is pretty much spam along with the next one

Disarmament - this reduces physical armor of your target by a percentage, stacks up to 4 times and helps you with DPS (your team will also like you for this as well later down the road

Punishment - This uses up holy seals and deals more damage based on your stamina, it helps over time but you'll probably like using holy smite more

Holy Smite (K/P) - pretty much what help keeps the k/p so tanky and durable during anything that doesn't evade all your attacks and/or one shots you

truth shield bash - there's an elite down the road you'll get as k/p that makes this skill have not only a lower cooldown but also have a chance to not consume your holy seals on target (however many seals you have is how effective it is)

Charge -A stun that's pretty great for getting in a bunch of hits for free if you are high enough in level, you also have 2 holy seals stacked onto the target by using this ability (the higher the skill is the longer the stun will take effect)

Shock - Turn your holy seals into another stun and get more free hits

Devotion - increases healing you receive from heals (DOES NOT WORK ON HOLY SMITE), increases damage (very low I might add but you'll still need what little you can get every now and again) and MP (woohoo)

What to max out whenever possible (probably at like 55ish I suppose)
Holy protection (k/p)

Threaten (lowers damage received mainly)

enhanced armor (more armor)

Shield of discipline (this skill is the main reason why knight and having it as a secondary has shot up in durability)

shield defense (more pdef)

holy strength (DO IT)

magic barrier (Priest general, will be useful but most of your encounters are going to pretty much be 90% of the time physical damage anyway)

Many skills are obvious as to why you'd want them and such, though those are the skills that I'm going to cover because reasons.
