did you try it out? The buff only lasts like thirty seconds and has something like a two minute cooldown. lol. At least it's fun(ny) to bust it out for comic relief.

yea :/..does take alot of effort, for the lame reward lol...there is a perm one though, id imagine how long that would take to get o.0

I did all 5 of the instrument quest in two days. Buying mats of the AH ftw!

The permanent instrument is a Pengo, which you receive after completing all the quest. It adds +10 mp regenation rate and +5 regeneration as you play it. Which means it's incredibly worthless seeing you get a double regeneration rate for sitting down. Don't stress on getting the permanent instrument.

How long does the buff last from the permanent instrument? Can it be used just before battle? (LOL not like it's really that big of a deal just asking out of curiosity)

It's not a buff that last for any specific duration it's as you play the instrument. The only thing that makes it worth getting is that it allows you to have a "playing music" animation go indefinitely. So I like to stand next to Dimiter whisperwind (the instrument maker in lograr) and play my pengo for fun when I go afk. As I said it only gives +10 mana regeneration rate and +5 hp regeneration rate while you're standing and immobile. This is worthless because you receive double regeneration for sitting. There is a bug though, you can actually cast spells while you're playing it. It's fun breaking out the pengo during a raid.

WOW, i did all 5 of these instrument quests too and never got the permanent instrument. Not that the instruments are worth it at all.

IMO they really need to make the permanent instrument worth it, after all, as far as I'm concerned, it's the *real* reward. The recipies are just way too time consuming/expensive to get mats for to be realistic.

Make it 2x regen for the player, and 2x (cumulative) for the rest of the group within ~200 units. (So if they're sitting down, they'd be regennin' at 4x)

Would make it at least somewhat worthwhile.
