New Dungeon Finder Auto-Queueing

Okay so i love this game, it is a very nice looking game and very fun. But really? The manual grouping for dungeons is just rediculous. You guys should make an auto-queueing dungeon finder so that it will give you the option to select which role you want to go as and then sign up for it and wait to be matched with other players. Once selected role then select your dungeon that your wanting to do, maybe even do cross realm matching to make it easier and faster. I love this game and i don't mind questing and all but it gets old way to fast, queueing up for a dungeon while questing and waiting wouldn't be so bad because you would be able to get away from your boring questing once your Dungeon Pops up and then you go in, do your instance, and then you go back to questing. It would make things sovery much easier and more convenient. So please consider this and make it happen for the sake of all other PvE lovers everywhere!!

No we dont need a LFG in this game in my opinion. If i want to find a group for a dungeon all i do is ask in guild or do a world shout. Also as i was leveling my char i would shout in each zone as i was questing lfg for a certain dungeon and tons of people asking to join. Just become more of a people person and interact with people and u will not find it hard to get groups.

Lol well that is just your luck, and your guild. Not everyone can be so fortunate as to find a guild that would actually help out as to do dungeons for the lowbies even if they say they do. And also people aren't always wanting to group up manually because they don't want to wait for so long just to get it going. See grouping up and taking a long time is a huge difference than queueing up in a lfg and waiting the same amount of time. The difference is that people don't continue to think that "omg hurry up i want to do this dungeon already", when in lfg they just keep on doing their thing, and don't think that way.

The existing LFG system in this game really does need a revamp. It has needed it for a long time. If it weren't for the fact level means nothing in this game I'd be all for a "polite-whisper" like we used in WoW but as is you'll just invite someone without the gear to do your dungeon. Because the truth is, you MUST have statted gear to do dungeons in this game. There is NO exception to this.

Btw, I'm not talking about newbie dungeons which, for the most part, also require you to have stats to do them close to your level. I'm talking about NoM+.

Well i mean they could put like a gear cap on the dungeon finder like WoW has now. This way it would make sure that everyone has the appropriate level of gear to enter a dungeon of such magnitude.

I agree with this idea, as it is hard to find a group to run things with in a PvP server. This system would make it so much easier.
P.S. This should be in the suggestions forum

There's no way to create a gear cap in this game. People can twink their toons to have 12k hp at level 25, using level 25 gears; they can twink them to have 5k at level 25, or just go by quest gear and have a little over 1k. How would a system decide how much was too much? And it wouldn't really be fair to twinked toons if they wanted to run an instance and couldn't because of a gear cap. I twink my alts, but I still find instance running extremely fun on them.

I prefer making parties manually anyway. I can't tell you how many times I've put together parties for endgame instances and got low levels or people that were severely undergeared wanting to join.

You obviously play on a PvE server...
On PvP servers it is pretty hard to get into a group if you don't have a good guild, or a guild that is higher/lower level than you.
I like this idea, it would help the LFG proccess a lot.
( Maybe there could be a level and/or gear cap )

I think our OP probably just came from WoW, because this cross-server dungeon-finder is precisely what they have now.

Therefore, let me answer you this way: This is not WoW. Honest. It really isn't! Check the top of the page! We do things differently here. Basically, in WoW, once you hit max level, if you've done a fair amount of raiding and have half a clue, you're decently geared and ready for whatever dungeons are your level. In this game, level and skill are only the first tiny steps....it's gear gear gear and then some gear. There is no way to evaluate whether someone is satisfactorily geared for a specific instance via one of those party-finder queues you want.

It wouldn't be challenging. I'm just starting, so I by no means know alot about this game.. but if the devs put a little work into assigning item levels to gear, just like wow, or even score the enchants, or gems, or whatever is used to twink here, it would still be pretty easy to come up with an overall character score. Upon queing for a certain instance, it would tell you, "A character score of "blah" is required to que for this instance." Anything is possible. Just requires thought and work.

1) THIS GAME IS NOT WoW

2) auto instance queueing would suck...that mean no higher lvls helping you farm gear, no guild runs, and no runs just with friends...i play on a pve server, and i LOVE doing instances, and i have never had a problem getting a party together...ever, plus, it isn't that hard to grind AND organize a party, you don't need to just stand in one spot while you organize your HoS run, u can actually be doing something else also...
